Anyone have a difficult commute today? Mine was no worse than normal.

Really, really windy, the rain didn't start until after I'd gotten here though.

That's what I told myself after buying a new groupset. Then remembered I'm going to get a power meter too

some people on another forum were saying the solar storm battery charger and pack are junk , some people saying their UK charger started to get red hot after a few charges.

so it's better to buy the head unit on it's own and get a battery pack and charger from the guy the first post linked to

brings the total cost to about 60 quid though but at least you know you have a good UK charger and a good battery pack and not some chinese crud that could burn your house down whilst charging

My old charger gets very hot too, so I just make a point of charging it whilst I'm near to it, and never leave it unattended, no fires yet...

Thanks again for the link. Mine arrived promptly at 9am this morning, slightly more relaxed fit than I was expecting with just a thin merino baselayer underneath, but it won't be flapping about anyway, and I can easily put a couple of layers on without it feeling too bulky or tight!

£999. Doesn't have the RS80's though.

There was a choice in the sale, Dura Ace and the alloy rims I've got or Carbon RS80s and Ultegra.

Yeah, ex race bikes. Warrantied for a year and still a bargain imo.

It's TRP Hylex, which is discs. I hope I'll be able to get them on tonight, but it depends on hose length. If they need cutting down then that means I'm in unknown waters and possibly need a new tool.

For first install I'll be using them stock, but I don't doubt that new pads and rotors will be en route shortly.

I just hope the frame fits after all this.
