Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

servers a lot better now.

I've gone from not being able to finish a round, hit anybody or see whats going on, to having a stable game and being able to shoot people in the face.
 
Really enjoyed my rounds last night running mostly with Nexus and Allnamestaken. Nice having spawn choices of Nexus tank or Allnames scout heli. Just bring your rep tool and enjoy the ride and rack up them points.

poor Nexus got banned for being to good. We gave the badmins some choice words but hey they arent going to listen are they. Was a long round and really close , coming down to the end about 100 each and Nexus disappears from the top of the leaderboard , thought he'd crashed.

Still trying to avoid 64 player though as I still crash when i go anywhere near them. The rest are running really good and stable , unparked my cores early yesterday and it has defo improved things and i've put a max of 120fps on but i'm not sure if this helps or not just seemed like a good idea.
 
Really enjoying the game still, just been rinsing engineer. Just unlocked the anti-air IGLA launcher, it's insanely powerful but the range is limiting and you have to keep the target in your crosshair. 95% of the time it's a mobility hit though, so fun watching choppers spin out of control.
 
Same for me last night as well.

Couple of decent rounds and then a few laggy ones.

Hit reg was all over the place as well.

Theres a good game here but needs some work from Dice to get the experience consistent.

The server side crashes are just that, server side and either the entire server will die or half of the people in it will drop. There are also allot of client side issues causing people to drop.

We have ever seen the game become unplayable when using certain guns :eek:

Depends what crash. Most of the crashes are players being disconnected due to a time out, which is server based.

If the whole game locks up or you get DX errors, then it's most probably client based.
 
the amount of morons who play this game is mind boggling, people who seemingly have no idea what the actual point of the game is. Just nobhead useless snipers who camp when you're meant to be rushing.

get more tactics in cod ffs
 
It's annoying when people hang back in a rush game, i agree.
But overall, in other gamemodes, camping and sniping IS a tactic :confused: just like camping overlooking a point to protect it (if it's yours) or to spot and pin-down (if you're attacking it).

It's amazing how many people are butt-hurt because they can't tackle a sniper or a camper.
Change your tactic to tackle/avoid them. It's not just run and gun. Go and play CoD if you want that.

Ah was just going to say the same...


Anyone using a tablet for Commander (when its unlocked) and battle screen etc? What's your opinions people? I'm looking at getting one anyway so just wondering what people are using. Nexus 7, iPad, Tab? Other?
 
Game froze for the first time last night when i was playing with Nexus and other people from here, had to get task manager up and close it, but it didn't occur again.
