Can happen if you flick through your browsing history and load the page where you edit the message again as either this or the action of then leaving the page can trigger the "post this message" action on the forum. I've certainly done this before now!

It's technically correct, there are phones with better individual parts but as we don't buy individual parts I'm wondering what the relevance of it is.
It's a waste of time to talk about best, what's best suited to one person won't be for another unless we're getting into my dad's harder than your dad territory.
Oh, I thought from that quote he was comparing the S4 to the N5 (I actually have Photoshop on ignore due to rubbish he's posted in the past, but he's actually making sense here, which is a worry) which isn't comparing parts, it's comparing phones.
I keep flopping back and forth over which will be my daily phone. I'll probably stick with the N5, even though it's very easy to argue the S4 is technically better. But I think that's one thing we're all agreeing on, different people put greater weight on certain aspects of a device. The fluidity of the N5 is winning me over.

I thought CM mod was basically for old or crappy phones that wanted to have the latest updates.
With the nexus it should always have the latest updates so why choose that over say another custom ROM?
I've got the N5 on order.... I've got no reason to be envious.
Ye AndyCR blocked me because I said people are Morton's for having a weather widget on their phone when they can just look out the window. But that's online forums for you. Some one always throws the toys out

There is a lot more to CM than just a newer version number to be fair.
The LG G2 is a better phone for one. Why? Because the Nexus 5 is based on it but with slightly cheaper parts to make it fit the price bracket.
So yes, technically the G2 is a better phone.
Technically the iPhone 5S is better too. There are so many technically better phones out there.....

How is the iphone better technically?
apart from the camera I just don't see it.
Full HD screen, bigger screen more pixels, etc.
More RAM, more cores, more battery, etc.
Build quality, better and faster CPU. Better camera, better speaker.....

the nexus 5 feels like it's built pretty well to me.
on another note there is a physical mod you can do to the nexus 5 which even has videos showing you on how to improve the nexus 5 speaker.
basically take the back off, and poke 3-5 holes into a bit of plastic which you unscrew from the chassis.
more holes = more ways for the sound to escape = the whole chassis gets used to amplify the sound outwards.
it's a pretty simple and easy mod to do if you have the correct tools.
also is the CPU in the iphone faster? because the nexus 5 feels faster to me when in use.
therefore you could argue that software is better on the nexus 5
The software is better on the N5 but its still not there. Out of the box the camera is slow to focus and is slow on the shutter side. No burst mode either.
Mods aside, the speaker out the box is not so good.
Build quality is subjective but you can't argue that the iPhone and other phones use premium materials and have better internals technically.
The petruding N5 lenses makes it rock about on a flat surface. May not be a problem for some but it is for others.
I am talking out the box here and out the box the N5 is lacking compared to other phones.
I'll have one soon enough to compare it with my S4 and iP5S

I wasn't making a complicated point, I'm slightly disappointed that you've not understood or ignored it.
The LG G2 and iPhone 5S may be better phones in your view but they're not in mine. The whole package is a subjective thing, you'd do well to stop talking in absolutes.
The LG G2 is technically a better phone. That's a fact and not subjective.
