That's a bit of a worry, I use my Nexus to stream via Bluetooth to my sound system, will have to skip the update until I can get some more information on this
This is partially fixed in 4.4.2 - the volume linearity problem is gone, but the audio is still pretty choppy.
Thinking about it, may have something to do with streaming rather than bluetooth audio? Previously I was playing cached Spotify music (smooth), but now that I have factory reset, I have been streaming only (choppy).
Let me try caching playlists again and seeing if it's still choppy!

Got the 2013 Nexus 7 for £150 for the missus for Xmas to replace her 1st gen ipad, hope she likes it. 
2012 nexus is available for £99 if anyone is interested!

Got a nexus 7 2013. It is a very nice tablet! Screen is epic. 4.4.2 is so nice to use too.
Although just not sure if I would use it enough so trying to decide if I should return it and get a nexus 5 to replace my one S instead
Are there any must have apps/games for the N7??? Finding firefox rather slow compared to chrome and the UI is pretty poor too but firefox has the adblock extension and stylish addons.........

Goodbye dear old 2012 nexus 7 you were good first tablet. Just need to get gpe installed on my new LG G Pad 8.3.

Yeah I am pretty damn tempted, it is either the n5 or n7! Just don't know what to do
Also, supposedly the n5 screen isn't as good as the n7 screen and that is largely why I love the N7..........Now why doesn't that surprise me
