Keep going backward and forward between this and a android tablet, cant make my mind up......
Really depends what you intend to use it for. I got rid of my iPad for this, and couldn't be happier.
Though i only used the ipad for tvcatchup and web browsing. And i've still got my Note 2 for quick searches and stuff like that.
The touch/tablet version of internet explorer isn't quite as good as some of the app browsers on android and I've not managed to find anything better, but it does work quite well once you've adjusted to it a little bit. Plus it works just like a PC browser, so no issues with flash or youtube embedded videos, etc. Normal PC browsers don't work so well with touch due to not having pinch zoom and having small selection button/links. Obviously when using as a laptop with a mouse the normal browsers work perfectly fine.
The big benefit for me is having the keyboard and mouse, and the fact it will stand up on its own, so i don't have to hold the damn thing. It also runs all my pc programs, so i don't need a separate Laptop for working on, and i'm even using it instead of my Home PC with no real draw backs (connected into a 24" 1080p monitor). The 2GB of ram is a little limiting, i've got AutoCAD 2013 running on it fine (4GB recommended), but it does start to get a little slow when dealing with large drawings and demanding commands, not so much that it is a problem though, But I have installed an older version in the hope this will improve it, could just be the CPU though.
I do tend to us it as a laptop more than a tablet, maybe if there were more apps i might use the tablet form a little more. But generally it's in laptop form and i'll just use it as a tablet when in bed watching tv/youtube or browsing the web.
Battery life is also great, I've not noted the total time between charges, but it must be getting close to 9-10 hours of general use, browsing, youtube, tvcatchup, and a little work. Screen brightness is normally turned down to minimum when in bed though, certainly much better than my fiancee's new Lenovo Flex 15 which is rated at 9 hours and probably only last 3-4 hours.
I just need to find a longer usb cable now that will allow me to charge it whilst using it as the supplied cable is only about 1m long
