You still need the mag to put the bullets in, then load it into the gun. If you have a mag and loaded the bullets as well as loading it into the gun you may have a bug. I had that once and a restart of the game had the gun firing ;)
 
Sharp objects (knife, screwdriver etc) should now open cans of food.

The pistol needs a magazine to load the ammo into, you can't load individual rounds like the rifles. And it does take the .45ACP that you would have found.

I'll be interested to see if my character's been wiped or not, had a nice assortment of gear - lots of 5.56 with a double mag and two standard mags, two medkits, and a defib along with various foods amd several map sections (I've got the South, West and North East - found the first two inside a burnt out police car).
 
Lots of people getting it after the latest update. Looks exactly like the stutter that occured in Arma 2 when using a time skip scripts as clients all get it at the exact same time.

Then got killed just now whilst looting the ATC!

I haven't gotten further than Zele yet, everytime I do I die from thirst or get shot or the server crashes!

HA that was me :) Don't feel guilty as I was going to shoot you, but then realised I had no ammo :(
 
So played for a couple of hours last night, found a rifle and some 7.62mm ammo, plenty of food and a backpack and some heavy duty hiking trousers. :) Was really getting into it. Hadn't managed to hook up with my mate as I had no clue what village I was in lol.

Need some blood bags though as been hit a good few times :( With the constant reminders of feeling tired and thirsty etc. I find myself walking more than I did in the mod to conserve energy lol. Didn't really bump into a whole lot though considering it was 50 strong. Least not anyone threatening.

Noticed on a few servers last night, and this was before and after the update that when someone speaks over their mic it either crashes the server or so many people lose connection.

I hate the fact apart from the above issue that we can't really use mics in close quarters in fear of spamming out to everyone on the server.

Have to say though i am impressed with it so far. Yeh it's a bit boring having to run everywhere but lets face it, most of the mods made it far to easy for us all. We were spoiled. Now it's back to hardcore :)
 
Gonna buy this tonight.

Not read much into the standalone, but is the map exactly the same as the Mod? Or is there a lot of new stuff, watched a few streams last night and it looks amazing.
