What's the sound quality like? That's a lot of wattage for the price

Sound is pretty decent for the price.

That rating on the ebay listing is exagerated this model ( SE ) can probably do 50 watts the most as the output transistor is only rated @ 100w.

The MX50 model is the 100w ver. of the amp.

I replaced a friends blown Cabridge Audio A1 amp with this kit and so far no complaints so I guess the amp. is doing fine for his heavy metal type music.

Would you recommend it, if I've never picked up a soldering iron before?

Probaly not worth it if your just gonna used it to practice soldering though.

That herb garden looks pretty sweet but it looks like you get 7 leaves max from each plant? that'd be kinda annoying having to wait a few weeks for them to regrow..
