Several studies have found there is either no or only minor economic benefit from immigration. This is because immigrants use services, get old, get sick etc. It would make far more sense to get OUR unemployed into work, that would be a far bigger economic benefit.

Well my Polish girlfriend got a job as a waitress on the grounds that "she's polish and therefore a hard worker" basically screwing over a local student or something who needs a summer job... and this was in a city where we'd chased pretty much every catering business.

Diversity/cultural? Right, if you want to experience other cultures ****** go and travel.. the only culture you'll get here is some rubbish watered down version. Food, for example; "indian", "tapas", "sushi" in this country is just a **** imitation.. bar high end restaurants.

Try doing work with a bunch of foreign students who can barely speak English and come up with tedious, incoherent written work. GODAMNIT

No it doesn't. My faculty at University must be over 70% foreign and all I get is annoyance. A multi-lingual environment = everything gets lost in translation.

There is your answer. No one wants to move (or barely anyone) because UKIP created this mess of lies and it has spiralled out of control. I honestly can't wait until Nigel Farage gets a shock and taste of reality, then realises how stupid as well as how much of a cretin he really is.

Xenophobia will get people into more mess than the UK is in. Do people honestly think hiding behind a computer screen will help them and make them anonymous? I know it is old people who are negative and oppose the immigration standards. Even the Bulgarian president explained to Camoron on Nigel Farage, that changing and putting caps in place will damage not only the UK's image, but many other factors.

The younger generation doesn't really care because we love meeting new people and most of my girlfriends have been from other countries, they surely treat me better than girls in the UK do.

It's the greed of our current prime minister and his rules. I know exactly who is going to win the next election and I will be sure to vote for him.

I used to care about things like this but then I realised;

a. Great, more people to work for me when I start hiring people for my company, who will actually work hard. I don't mind paying people more if they are hard workers, so don't judge me thinking I just want cheap labour.

b. More people to buy my products!

I wonder why your university is foreign, maybe because European students are following through with their education. Instead of drinking themselves to death like most people in the UK.

UK lost its faithful image a long time back. It's only known for bad drinking habits and high teen pregnancy rates now.

I wonder how it got that way, maybe the older generations passing their habits on and learning their children from a early age that drinking a lot of alcohol is essential to create yourself and enjoy your life as well as arise your future.

Blame the older generation, they made the first changes into what the UK portrays itself as now.

Don't blame immigration, it is the fault of the people living inside the country.

This makes no sense whatsoever. Being multi-lingual does not make a person more intelligent, nor is there any obvious value in a multi-lingual society.

However if what you said is true about us being mostly German how does that help your argument? If were the descendants of Anglo-Saxon invaders (the majority are not by the way) then surely we know better than anyone that large numbers of immigrants is BAD for the natives, because we've annihilated them!
