The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - MODS & TWEAKS

There are so many mods, you should play around with a few of them to see what you like. There are thousands. Obviously some will suit you more than others.
 
As above really. Be careful when first learning to mod though, because it's very easy to mess something up and break your game.

I recommend playing through the original game first, without any mods. It is very good without the mods and should be played the way the devs wanted it to be played... then you can have hours of fun modding it!

I'd agree with this really. If you want to improve the graphics and add a few mod's without having to risk the NMM setup and messing something up - use the steam workshop. You can add some extra graphic/audio/content stuff this way pretty easily.
 
I've just started playing this again too, I reckon the most useful is SkyUI - makes the interface much more manageable (though I still can't figure out how to make my follower wear the armour I gave her but that's likely to be me). I have no experience with modding but I found NMM fairly easy to use. Once I'd broken the game by installing loads of mods, it has been easy to find the culprits and disable them through NMM.

I need help!!! I don't even know where to put the files , tried a few and the game would not start
 
Is ENB DOF and crossfire still fubar or has there been a fix i nthe last 6 months guys? I've got my game installed on my 2nd drive but hardly ever play from that drive anymore...its more a backup drive now. I've been looking around on the web, but not seen any serious fix to use ENB Realvision and Crosffire.
