I was thinking along the lines of installing one of the White XSPC AX480 in the bottom but still having the top HD cage in, the width of that rad is 130mm, doesn't sound like it's do able then! :(
 
I found a guy who sourced me 4mm LED strip in yellow, here is what it looks like, although it does look kinda amber in the pic its nice yellow. Can't wait to get them into Midas. :D

Have to say I've been tempted by one of these lately. Just can't justify it though... How did you manage to do it doyll? :p
 
Can't argue with that.
It's just that I don't really need any more cooling (as much as I love a good bit of rad overkill :D) and it's bloody massive. It's more a want than a need thing and I can't rationalize the expense of the upgrade with all the other bits and bobs that I'd want to go with it.

That's a TJ07, right?
 
Pete, have you considered the new Primo Luxe that's coming out in March? It's 560 (H) × 550 (D) × 235 (W) mm
235x560x550mm (WxHxD)
MSRP 129.90 Euro.. so should be about £108.00
 
Yeah, it looks like a very good case in it's price bracket.
For me though, it doesn't really offer anything over my current hack attack setup.

The lure of the Primo is the huge rad space and is one of the only reasons I have for wanting to upgrade for overkill's sake.
Saying that, I'm not 100% happy with the layout of the Primo for what I want to do, although it's by far the best option on the market without spending stupid money.

I guess I'd really want the separate lower rad pedestal section of a 900D with most of the main area and features of the Primo in an ideal world if that makes sense.
Maybe I'll revise/refine my custom Parvum idea and see about rustling up some benjamins...

Nice setup scotty, i take it the case is easily marked with fingerprints, (the bane of my lian li).

Looking forward to seeing what the black and red primo will look like, may still go for it over the luxe.

I believe the special editions have a sandblasted effect finish on the exterior. Swapping my system back into the A70F this week to tide me over till the new primo/luxe are released. Shinobi xl is being swapped with the akasa eclipse 62 my old x58 rig is housed in.
 
Is OcUK going to stock the special editions?

If anyone is waiting for the white version of the Enthoo Primo it's not going to be released until late March/Early April :(
 
Can some with one of these cases do me a favour and measure the distance between the front rad mount and the hard drive cage.

I'm thinking of putting a rad there whilst keeping the bottom HD cage just need to know what clearance i will have.
 
What is the max clearance for installing a radiator in the front with the HDD cages in place?
- You have 45mm of space before you will hit the HDD cages. A XT 45 will fit, but it will be a very close fit, you can expect the HDD cage to rub a little against the rad.
