We're apparently in for Nicolas Otamendi. He was fairly highly rated but I don't know how good he is now.

I'd be genuinely shocked if we got Kroos, it's wishful thinking more than anything most likely. :(

Wenger has just ruled out a move for Draxler too.
 
Holtby has always looked a tidy player whenever I've seen him, is this the fallout from AvB buying too similar players?

He has lost my love with this madness. Bentaleb got mauled mid week as did Dembele. You can't have two players picking up Silva, Aguero, and Toure. The system was wrong, the line up was wrong (Siggy should have been on the right to pick up Silva drifting in at the very least) and the result reflected it.

So long as Timmeh learned from the defeat, no probs... It was a nailed on loss anyway. We didn't see any of shuffling across or funnelling back Timmeh and that was because the system needed to be different to cope with such a fluid and dynamic team as City.

If, on the other hand, he thinks it was just because he needed two central midfielder who run around a bit more and Livermore is therefore the answer, he needs to go at the end of the season!

The most shocking thing about the match was the squad players level of fitness. a lot appeared dead on their feet before even the 90 minutes were up.

Personally I think Kroos might be gettable (as long as Utd get CL next season) in the summer, but I just had the feeling it was never going to happen in Jan whatever **** the press wrote.

The other thing that might help persaude Kroos is IF Moyes can get Reus at the same time (even if Kagawa goes in the other direction).

what's the excuse for the first leg result? Utd rejects vs United 11 and the rejects won that match...
 
So its looking more and more likely that its DraxOFF as Wenger has come out and said the whole hype about him coming to us was created by the papers. Still im hoping that something does happen but it looks unlikely and could possibly be a summer move for Draxler.

One player that is being mentioned that is coming to us is Kim Kallestrom...who in the blue hell is he??:confused:...never heard of him which means hes probably absolute rubbish and is 31 yrs old :/. 35 yr old Klose is another who is being mentioned...again :/

Klose is a proven goal scorer and we need a striker right now, not sure about Kallstrom, never seen him play but according to Transfermarkt he's a central midfielder and we have those coming out of our ears. Literally the last position that needs strengthening at this moment in time.
