Is it even possible to fail a medical!?

There was a lad who was set to seal a move to Burnley when Coyle was still in charge, I remember he failed the medical and Coyle was unable to sign him, both parties seemed pretty gutted (stating the obvious for the lad!) but seems like no more could be done.

No idea if it's mentioned here. Apparently Holtby is set to sign and is 1/10 odds on to join. Initial press was it was a loan and Berba the other way, but other reports saying it's possibly a £5m move.

Mitroglou is also having his medical as we speak.

Fulham have made second bids for Jack Cork, Phil Bardsley and apparently enquiries/bids for Larnell Cole & Ryan Tunnicliffe from Utd.

No further news on Morrison though..

Could be a hell of a window if Fulham end up signing Mitroglou, Kvist, Holtby and anyone else at a bonus. Would love to sign Neil Taylor from Swansea though.

I would be sad to see Cole go, he's a great lad and a decent footballer, was hoping he would get his chance at United.

Have a pic of Giggsy with Welbeck and Cole in the middle :)

I think Larnell Cole is still the same height :D

didn't Essien to Milan fail, then subsequently pass the other day?

There's no set mark, so to speak, to pass a medical. Clubs carry out medical tests to see what's what with the player before committing to signing them. If the club is happy with the state of the player (and prepared to take a risk if he has injury problems) then they sign them, if not they don't.

The other year Liverpool were set to sign Marvaux but after he had his medical tests pulled out of the deal, Newcastle on the other hand were happy to sign him.

If recent reports are true, Fulham will be confirming Kostas Mitrogrlou, Larnell Cole, Ryan Tunnicliffe on permanent deals and Lewis Holtby (no confirmation if loan or transfer) tomorrow. Still no news on Morrison, Bardsley, Jack Cork or Neil Taylor, though.

Well it looks as though Southampton will offload Osvaldo to Juventus which i'm sure will suit everyone involved.

Question is - who, if anyone, will they manage to bring in to replace him, seeing out the season with just Lambert, Rodriguez and Gallagher isn't going to work.
