Crafting and changing the stats on the items in RoS costs a lot of money, once you re-roll like 10 times trying to get a socket etc I think it can go into the value of around 10,000,000 so it's probably best to have as much as possible :)
 
You're going to need gold for the expansion content. Rerolling stats on items started at 1.4M on the PTR. Then you have enchanting and crafting to think about.

Market has softened slightly overnight but I made almost a billion gold yesterday due to the fact that people haven't realized crafting costs have been reduced immensely on gems. I bought about 50k flawless square rubies, turned them all into radiant stars and made 900+ million gold.

Build explanation:

Rend bloodlust - keeps you alive! you are usually surrounded by monsters so you will be healing a lot *Rend works the same as pre 2.0, if it crits it will do massive damage for the whole duration*

Battle rage blood shed - Makes your HOTAs do massive AoE

Charge - main fury generator and mobility skill, this will fill a 150 fury bar instantly with a good charge

Wrath Insanity - For bursting elites, Slaughter is also good but I find I like the higher single target burst of Insanity

Cleave reaping swing - secondary fury generator

HOTA - Smash - for smashing! If you can get fire damage% on your gear that will make this do even more damage!

Passives:

Unforgiving - Optional, I like the fury

Animosity - A must have, fury is a luxury in 2.0

Weapons Master - Nerfed to only 5% crit chance, but still worth it IMO since even in WOTB a good barb with SOJ will only have ~90% crit chance with HOTA with a full fury bar in Wrath, and its not often you have full fury or are in Wrath even.
 
Feels like a huge upgrade. Completed a normal run with a monk earlier this week and left him at lvl 34. played about 30 mins of the game following patch and nearly doubled my damage output with item drops and crafting.

Yellows are dropping like crazy; have had hardly any whites or greys drop and now need them for mats! lol.

So far it is a great upgrade. lovin it! :D

Pity my yellows that I stashed pre-patch only go for a few gold. Thought it was a bug at first, but then the newly dropped yellow were going for a lot more. Have just salvaged them.
 
By the way, I see that in character creation it shows the Templar and states that to create one I need to get the expansion through Blizzard. I have ordered a physical copy as cheaper than buying from Blizzard. However does anyone know whether we can start leveling a Templar now if we buy digital through Blizzard now?
 
Ok that is mine ordered from CDkeys. Remember i bought COD ghost from them and they were ok from what i can recollect.

this patch has just revitalised my enjoyment of the game completely, im having a ball playing again, although ive quickly realised that my 60 monk and Barb are woefully undergeared for torment :D

TBH been having just as much fun on my lowbies, and am now sorely tempted with the expansion, whats the best price around at the moment?
