Auction house is gone, this is why the game is so much better.

They've gone too far the other way though, EVERYTHING near enough is account bound, there is next to no player interactivity. In all honesty, the second they started account bounding everything is the second their always on DRM became unacceptable. They ought to patch it out now, because there is now no reason as to why somebody shouldn't be able to play this without an internet connection. It's being always online for the sake of it at this point. If it's okay for D3 to do it then it's okay for any other game to be always online, or people have double standards.

Bring back community pls.

Loads of games require you to be online now - That argument is for a bygone age you just have to move on I am sorry to say.

I know this may be a problem for undeveloped areas of the world but I am luckily online 24/7 now so it does not effect me at all.

I hear what you are saying now about the account bound stuff but if you group up with friends while you play it is not all that bad. Something they are doing which is a bit different to other ARPG's past and present - Admittedly a change that the majority love.

Could be this game is just now for your tastes and that is ok :)

What do you mean mate? I'm loving the game, I just see no reason for it to be mandatory for you to be online anymore, as they took everything out of the game that semi-justified the always on DRM. I can't think of another game that requires an internet connection besides Sim City and MMO games, Sim City got destroyed for being always online despite having strong benefits for being so, D3 has no excuse (never really had either) but nobody cares. It's like wat.

Hit lvl 66 with my Barb tonight. Found myself starting to struggle on Expert in some parts of Act 5. Was taking me ages to kill the armored/stoney things in the Battlefield area. I had to drop the difficulty to make the kill rate fast enough to have any hope of getting drops.

Got some legendary bracers that have a nice buff which increases speed every time you smash something. Makes going through dungeons fast!

I really want to level my crusader (I have a 2.7k dps 2h for her with level reduced by 27 :o), but everytime I log on I can't help but play my monk :(.

Pally was my favourite D2 character by far as well, maybe I just need to force myself to take a break from the monk :p.

I'll try out my dh tomorrow then.

The more I'm playing the DH, the more build options I'm seeing, which is great. Cluster Arrow - Loaded For Bear is a good starting point for a hatred spender and does enormous damage. After that, plenty of attack and defensive options that are fun!

I find cluster bomb does way more damage if you can line it up correctly, it just takes some getting used to as the damage doesnt occur at the cursor. I run with 55% additional fire damage as well, just need to find some decent helm/boots that I can get cluster arrow damage on and I'll be sorted (and a Cindercoat, obivously!)

Seems very few people are playing dh at the mo (in my friends list anyway), I think mainly because they arent so easily able to focus damage as some of the other classes but I still find them the most fun :)

Just need to let go of my legacy (post nerf) nats set now, but losing that 20 disc is going to be soooo painful since it feeds prep:punishment so nicely, making me more dependant on nightstalker and blood vengeance, decisions decisions... :)
