4K gaming possible at full settings on todays hardware?

From what I can tell it would seem to be an old code problem, there is still a lot of it in Civ5. They really need to do some work in this area with Civ6.
I am surprised you haven't put your order in yet Kaap. Civ 5 looks very very good
Seems that file is a bit too big...This is resized to 1080P

Greg... Are you using your 4k monitor has a gaming monitor only? or are you using it for regular daily use too? Is the monitor compatible with google chrome and all other apps in windows?

Yer I use it for everyday use as well but I tend to use the 1080P for apps and use the 4K for chrome.

Just curious, Greg, for those Black Flag screenies did you have the graphics all maxed out and were you using both Titans? If so, your fps seems pretty high compared to mine at 1440p with 2 780s - mine cannot manage Black Flag maxed out at 1440p, I get frame rates in the low 30s (unplayable for me).
Would you not recommend 4k for day to day use? If I was getting one I'd sell my old monitor so would only have the 4k.
Pretty sure it was fully maxed for the screenies but use 2*TXAA for gameing and get above 50fps average.

I see, I have everything maxed at 1440p except for AA (which I have at 2xMSAA) and PhysX particles (which I have at Low) and I get around 60fps average - but it drops into 40s when there's lots of PhysX smoke interactions going on. Maybe it's time I overclocked my 780s a bit higher, temps already hit 81°C when gaming though...
I will run a bench tonight to verify but with everything maxed and inclusive of PhysX on high and running 2*TXAA kept me above 50 fps and no OC on the GPU's either.
I will double check though and I know with 8*MSAA and fully maxed gave ~25 fps
