I was under the impression that the poison was aimed at Marjorie, need to watch again but I distinctly remember the cup was handed out from Marjorie's side of table. By chance, it killed King Joffery...

Remember, she still had the poison from when the enemies were knocking at the gates.

Nah she dropped that quite clearly on the floor when Tywin burst into the throne room :)

Talking about a show after it's aired *cry*
Swearwords in a thread about a show which shows nudity and even uses the c word *cry*

*sigh*

I think I need to find a less pathetic forum.

ALso, Cersei ordered a small boy be pushed out the window to protect the lives of her children. She would never have one of her kids killed, let a lone do it herself.

Nobody's 'crying' about the use of swearwords. It was just a head's up because you know, family friendly forum, rules and all that?

Then again, after 9 years here, you'd think he'd know the score.

I smell Varys and/or Littlefinger up to no good here, albeit acting on behalf of a 3rd party.

The trouble with it being the Tyrells or the Martells is that it just seems too obvious, but fingers really do seem to point to the former though as for one thing all the food and drink was courtesy of them. Also Joffers' cup was picked up from just infront of Marg and Alerie with a few interesting perspective shots of Alerie with the cup in the forground.

Also, Dontos was on the scene pretty quick to whisk Sansa out the way...

Who was asking Sansa questions about the type of person Joffrey is, and why would that person have an interest in seeing him dead?

Marg and Alerie Tyrell were asking Sansa this when they came to Kings Landing but this would fairly obv as Margerie was set to marry Joffery.

Yes he is.

Also from reading the books, I never thought the wedding was outside, always assumed it was in the great hall so Joffrey could sit on his iron throne.

Ah, well in that case I'll leave it there and say don't over think it :)

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was in the hall too. Oh, and the necklace had black stones didn't it?

It was a hair-net with black stones in the book, but that doesn't really matter.

Just rewatched the episode and you can see The Queen of Thornes grab the jewel from the necklace straight after running her hand through Sansa's hair.

Quite a touching moment between Tyrion and Sansa when Joffrey is making fun of him, as she starts to feel for him.

Cersei really is the Queen of madness.
