The next one you buy have who ever is taking delivery ask the driver to wait 5 mins so you can check it before it's signed for I have never singed for a tv/monitor with out just plugin it in to make sure the screen is ok
 
but he didn't pay for a service to open and check the monitor - it also couldn't be sold as new if it was opened.

I understand there is a serious issue with their order, however, there are ways and means and it appears OcUK are trying to help - if the OP went into Tescos ranting the way they have done here, they would be asked not to speak to the staff in that way and ultimately asked to leave the store.

Why treat OcUK staff any differently just because it is on an internet forum?
i never said he did :confused: i said they should offer the service that a big online retailer already provides :p
 
Ouch feel very sorry for the OP. Cringing for both OcUK and Hazro right now.

It is incredibly bad luck and my opinion of Hazro products has dropped significantly.

I'm a little perplexed as well, as to why OcUK first (or was it second?) time round sent a B-grade / RMA'd item that wasn't even in the retail packaging..

I appreciate that mate, I really do. Bailey is back tomoz. As stated, he has helped out but this really is beyond belief now. BGRADES followed by two dodgy Hazro monitors, both displaying the same panel flickering and switch off problems

If I had hair, I'd be tearing it out
 
I've never met a courier who would stay for five minutes...

I had a Parcel Force driver offer to wait while I unpacked and tested 3 monitors less than a week ago... They're not all neanderthals.

Seeing this thread makes me confident that my choice not to go with the Hazro was good judgement. I'm certain OCUK will come good for BB though.

I have messaged him. Hopefully he has some options as I have two broken Hazro screens here (the other wasn't picked up today)

I am sure he will. - He has mainly been dealing with the issue so it would be best for him to help you out.

I will be at iSeries myself, so even if it means me bringing one from the warehouse with me, to deliver to you in person in order to resolve this. :)

Take your broken monitor(s) to i-series with you. let 5UB/other staff take a replacement. i will chuck one of my spare LG23EA63 IPS monitors in with all my gear... if the new one is broken, or your there on thursday (when i doubt ocuk will be trading) you can use my spare.

either way then you have a monitor for i-series.

I wouldn't recommend taking the broken one to the event to us, we do not have a proper RMA procedure in place and storage for it. I can bring down a replacement with me personally, but I am not being responsible for holding customers products for a week in my hotel (if it were to go missing, etc)!
