Watch Dogs - Ubisoft's Third Person Shooter

I hope the rest of the graphics live up to what is shown in that video.

Just waiting on the reviews now to see if the rest of the game is any good.
 
Ordering a 780 next week and Watchdogs will be the first game I try out my card on. I'm like a kid on Christmas Eve right now. lol

One huge caveat/punishment Ubisoft implemented is when you do turn off the Online Option, all your skills accumulated are reset to zero. You read that right. They all get reset to zero. All the online-specific skills reset to zero as punishment for not wanting to play online, something which is entirely disappointing. Either you keep getting invaded, or you get punished for wanting to play sometimes and not other times with the online mode.

Seems that your better turning off online mode on your first playthrough then if you want to enjoy single player

I hope that's not true for the PC. If so then it's pretty lame. I'd like to have the choice of MP or not rather than be bullied into having it all the time. :(

The best time in geeks life (Im a geek calling some one else a geek so it's fair game :p) is when it's new GPU time!! :D

I've just added a second 670 to my setup, and have got the performance I wanted. Most games are showing near double minimum fps leaps.

If it was me I would go for the MSI, only because I had two 7950's they were nice. Then I saw the £ of the Classy. Check your mail. I am tempted.
 
That review isn't clear over whether the skill reset applies to all skills or just the online-specific skills (what ever that may be).

Given how the review is worded, i'm assuming its the former.

Seems pretty clear its only the skills which affect online play which are reset, altho not sure if this applies to all versions, will know more once we start seeing some reviews other than that single xbone one
 
Right, sit down people, this question may be one of the silliest.

I usually buy my games digitally then download ready to play, If I bought the physical edition of this would I need to download anything, or would it be a simple, install and ready to play? Only asking because of Uplay/Steam etc.

Possibly updates. I prefer to have a copy of the game, (yes I'm old) but because of the £ now I.E. I got WatchDogs for 23 notes whereas I think I would be looking at 35-40 in the shops.
 
Updates are OK, the other reason I was looking at a phys copy is because my net is crawling atm, and 25GB would take weeks.

I'll see what others have to say, and if Ubi ever get back to me.

on pc you can just block the game on your firewall and there will be no online.

oh wait it's ubisoft so probably always on DRM
