anyone have a lightning crusader?

thinking blessed hammer>thunderstruck and falling sword>part the clouds.

im about to hit 70 and want to try something different to fire, i have a fire mage.
 
I think lightning hammer is the best one as it hits the whole area around you and the middle section follows you as you move while the outer bit stays in position
 
I got a lightning crusader but I use Fists of heaven with Fissure rune. I tried blessed hammer but I didnt liked it.

EDIT - I crafted Aughilds helm. I don't understand. It's only level 42 and it sucks? My level 70 legendary helm is much better and gives me 10% more damage.

It's the set bonuses which are good. The item you've crafted probably doesn't have crit hit chance on it hence the damage reduction. You can either re-roll for crit hit or craft another item.
 
Re-roll a socket on your weapon. You're quite low on crit hit damage so the 130% from a green gem on your weapon will help a lot. Additionally your chest and legs have no sockets so you're missing out on a good load of intelligence there as well.

Your offhand doesn't have crit chance on and as you can get 10% there it's important to have it there. Similarly, on amulet it's good to stack crit and crit hit damage here too because you can have 10/100% respectively.
 
Been playing around with my Crusader today, finally got her leveled to 70 after stopping at 45. Wanted to get a Shard of Hate and Thunderfury on my Monk, as I just had a feeling if I played another class it's drop on that character instead. Finally got them on my Monk though, and low and behold 10 mins into my first Rift on Crusader I get a TF :p

Tried Holy, didn't like it. Don't have any items that seem to make some of the more popular builds around work. Had a Maximus drop so tried fire instead which I'm liking a lot more, the chain damage really helps wipe out elites. Quite comfortable in Torment 3 at the moment. Not 100% settled on build though but I'm trying stuff out. Really like Blessed Shield with Combust for clearing trash but it fails a bit when it comes to bosses. Really need a SoJ!

I had to do it about 4 or 5 times but I eventually got a socket on my weapon, I put an imperial emerald gem in to help with the crit hit damage. Cheers. :)

I also rolled on my chest and legs and got 2 sockets on each so filled them with int gems.

My offhand does have 9.5% crit hit chance. :)

Also I've got the maximum amount of blood shards now are they only used for buying mystery items from Kadala?

Pretty much got T6 on farm now, a few deaths here and there but nothing too bad, I managed to keep my XP buff going for like 5 T6 rifts so adjusting to my build.

This is with Unity ring of course. I wonder how I would fair without it. I think I could still do it if I changed Akarat's to Prophet rune instead of Fire Starter, but Fire Starter does much more DPS.

Solo?

Curious as to why some people prefer to solo than in a group? Isn't it easier in a group with the same amount of loot?
 
Solo yeah, Unity ring on me + follower means I get flat 50% dmg reduction when solo. In group it's much harder as I can't use it.

However I don't always run solo, run quite often in groups with Smudge/D3/Con and Si from here, we are fine on T4/T5 imo.
 
Just got the ring 'stone of Jordan'. People saying it's the best ring in the game?

Mine looks like it has pretty poor stats though and probably needs re-rolling, although I'm not really sure what to try and re-roll on it. Both of my rings are much better than it at the moment!
 
I bet both your rings aren't, the elemental damage and elite damage don't account for the stats it gives you for damage so it might say -10% or so when actually it's probably way better for killing elites.
