Most you get are useless, just gotta find the gems and keepers :)

Crafting Reapers Wraps is something you should do but not as highest priority imo, you have other stuff to work on.

I would run some rifts, highest torment where you can get to and kill the rift boss efficiently (sub 10 mins per run is ideal). Use Rift it Forward community to get people in at the Rift Boss to open your next one for free.

Gamble on Shoulders followed by Gloves in that order as those are your weakest slots, meanwhile you may find some upgrades.

Don't be tempted to spend all of your materials as soon as you get them, especially if you are getting upgrades frequently. Focusing on gem upgrades is a good idea as they will be useful from one item to the next.

Cheers, will start to spend shards on shoulders only at the moment then, hopefully get a good legendary. Will work on improving my gems as well, just so expensive!

So I should do the rifts runs solo? I'd probably get away with T1 in 10 minutes I think. Using the rift it forward community is a great idea, I'm thinking wouldn't it be better for me to just join a random T3 group though and do rifts that way? I'd get better gear in the long run I think?

Also any tips on the quickest way to get rift keystones? Just doing group bounty runs?

If you're just after key fragments then set it to Normal mode and just face roll the bounties. You can do split groups where people go and do different bounties on their own while others do the other bounties. Can work well but you need enough damage to make it quick even after the mobs have buffed for the number of people in the group.

Yeah I think just soloing normal mode would be the best idea although I wasn't sure if the keys would drop in normal mode. Cheers. :D

Just found this set piece

If I rolled the attack speed to a socket and put in a 120% crit hit gem would it be better than the starfire?

It's got nearly 100 more intel and a nice secondary stat with 7.5k life after kill, I'd say it would be better. Just don't go mad and spend a tonne of gold trying to get a socket.

Tom D - I am even newer to the game than you, I just downed Diablo on story with my monk and now level 62. I have done tonnes of rifts and bounties with my friend who knows the game very well (has 5 70's). Since rifts and bounties and such are new to us, happy to add you and we can do some bounties and rifts together?

I am online for a few hours on evenings of Monday, Wednesday and Friday then randomly throughout the weekend. Once I am 70, happy to nail through rift after rift if you are looking for a buddy? My friend will join us also, we have been doing rifts on master whilst we levelled from 40-58 no bother, so once I have bit better gear on 70 T1+ with you should be no problem.

:)

That Chantodo is much better than the orange one. Level reduction @ 70 might as well be a big bag of nothing. Life on kill is one of the better seconary stats and 100 more int surely is better than about 15 weapon dps. (Assuming you reroll the resource reduction - if you reroll the AS the damage would drop)

Cheers guys, I will re-roll the resource reduction for a socket. :)

xdcx that sounds great! What's your tag and I'll add you. :)

I really like Darklight at the moment, and it's easier to get higher CDR with a 1H wep I find without gimping too many stats elsewhere.

Darklight over Maximus every day of the week, you will get a hell of a lot more procs on the fire rune for AC with Darklight, not to mention you regen wrath faster than you can spend it.

There is simply no competition right now for a decent fire build with 6 piece Akkhans, enough CDR and a Darklight imho. Except as i say Shotgun build

Thanks guys.

I'll keep rolling for a Darklight. It's so annoying as I originally had a mid-range one about 6 weeks ago on my Monk, but eventually salvaged it as I didn't need it and it was taking inventory space... now I need it :/

Ok so I've found a thunderfury but confused in terms of how it compares to the chantodos will I found earlier.

Chantodos will:

Thunder:

That's a pretty weak Thunderfury, but the proc is powerful. However for you, the proc can roll from 279 to 372% and you got 282%. I'd use the TF.

I would attempt to reroll the dmg on the TF if you can, I'm assuming you haven't yet. You should be able to get the range higher (you can see the range you rolled vs the range it lets you roll).

Id go the other way, roll the cw resource to a socket and drop an em into it

Hmm you think the CW is better over-all then?

I can roll the lightening damage, is that what you're referring to? :)
