Well did my first micro with .28g wire, much easier to work with got a nice 1.9ohms for x6 wraps, with try it with x4 next time!

Vaping on some 6mg juice is a very nice experience, didn't think I would like it. Just need my new drip tip to arrive as I will be a happy bunny.
 
So I bought my first kit, nothing special just the Kanger EVOD kit in black. Seems OK but getting a couple of dry hits and it's giving me a bit of dry mouth.

Is there anything special I should be doing? Is it just bad E-liquid? Or is it just a not-so-good E-cig?

If you want something small that's better than a protank then have a look out for a microstick mod and a spheroid atomizer
 
Recommendations for 18350s? Looking at Torchy's on eBay currently.

EDIT: Just picked up 2 pairs of his branded ones. Better than the Efest's as far as I know.

I use them and AW IMR's both are good imo.



Got a KFL+ today, thats two now. both microcoiled at 1.4 and 1.6. No need for my KPT's ever again! Now I have two I might use one as a test bed for a low Ohm vape... Any tips gents? :)

I'm sure we all have varied opinions, but I wouldn't personally go sub-ohm on a KFL. The air flow is just too tight on any I've used to get the airflow through the RBA that's required to effectively do it.

In my experience the KFL = extreme taste and a decent throat hit.

Do you have a half decent RDA?
 
Yeah since posting that, I've read much the same as you say. The general consensus seems that the KFL's sweet spot is around 1.3-1.8Ohms. I'll stick with my preferred 1.6 I think. :)


Nope not got an RDA, thought about it though. Just an Igo L or something. How often do you need to fill an RDA up? I think if i had to keep buggering about with it it would get on my **** after a while.... As in are RDA's more faffing than a RBA?
 
quite often tbh but it's not really a problem if you're at home or work or whatever. pull off cap, squirt juice - takes seconds. I wouldn't take one with me anywhere but it's a great way to test out new juices and gives great flavour and there's no worries about leaks or whatever.
 
Yeah and for that reason, I think a dripper wouldn't be for me.

Having a look around though and the Fogger V4 looks good though! :D

I've got the shinyitus thing starting again, I've been good for ages and not bought anything new, now all of a sudden I think i need everything.... :o

I just ordered a Vamo V5 after looking at this thread. A step up from Ego twist I suppose. :)

Hi Josh, something doesn't sound right mate. :confused:

Is that 28awg or 0.3mm Kanthal you are using?

10 wraps around a 1.5mm drill bit for me, gets me 1.3oHms
6 wraps would be 0.8oHms

Are you sure all the coils are touching?
