Game recording should be built into the AMD GE APP. That way its separate and is optional, like the GE APP.

Sorry bud, but AMD shouldn't be pushing it to Raptr imo, they should make their own, Shadowplay/GE having used it, is way, way better than Raptr.

Yes you can use better capture tools, but it's necessity with AMD.

Nvidia aren't 'forced' to use Dxtory/mirillis action, it's a benefit/bonus.

The Xbone, PS4 and Nvidia all have built in game recording, AMD is the sole omission.:o

Well said, Tommy. :)

They could gain a lot more buyers if they can completely eliminate micro stuttering as well, 2 r9 290's would be much better value than a 780 Ti if performance was consistent across all games.

Unfortunately for me, i may have to decide on a Nvidia card eventually depending on how UE4 games run. Unfortunate because of their higher price.

Seems for even 1080p the 780 and 780 Ti are better in the UE4 elemental demo with minimums of about 40fps and overage over 60, but i'll probably wait for new cards to come out which should run it even better..

Too bad even with this console gen we have gpu's much more powerful than them but in some games performance isn't as great as it should be, and we have to pay a lot to get the performance that's worth it.. Still i'm guessing games on UE4 on consoles will be locked at 30fps anyway, so at least these cards can get quite a bit higher than that.

GTX 780 SLi is probably a better option for cost, performance.

Don't have that in any of my games and ive got a hell of a lot. Which games are you having problems with?

I agree, i just thought there'd be more chance of them integrating it via Raptr than doing it themselves. I'd happily take either if it worked well. :D

B) is never going to be ideal. Unless they have a separate dedicated chip (costly for something only a tiny minority will ever consider using), it's either going to be of such low quality as to be undesirable, or it'll severely impact in-game performance.

I think there's much more chance with the next-gen AMD x86 CPUs of there being a good solution ... i.e. having several ARM cores which streaming / capture / encoding could potentially be offloaded to.

Haha, i know what i meant. I think. :p

The problem is you have not given us the right things to vote on.:D

Two things I would like to see on an AMD card are:

PhysX.

A decent cooler.

I think I had better get my hat and coat and leave now.:p

This is about software features, not hardware features though.

I have no interest in game recording so I voted downsampling

Yeah, never understood the reason why recording yourself playing a computer game was a bonus feature.

"Hey, anyone wanna see me playing a computer game?"... Nope, nope I don't.

Nvidia shadow play has a low performance hit which shows it can be done
