Can you guys also advise on insurance for non commercial flying? I take it this is standard RC insurance I need to look for? Any pointers?
If you can stomach your local flying club, they can offer insurance as part of the membership. How this insurance works when you are not on flying club grounds/pre defined flying fields, IDK. I tried to approach two clubs and both told me to get lost with my new-fangled "drones"

I'll take my chances in unoccupied public places until multirotors are more accepted or get banned because of Phantom noobs
