Arya was so so so close to seeing her sister Sansa :( now she's off in the opposite direction... Wtf.

Loved it. Now to find something to watch for the next 8 months!

KInd of don't like Tyrion anymore : / Also , what is Varys up to? Looked like he was going to leave the boat, then heard the bells from kings landing and then got on the boat?

It's explained better in the books (minor book spoiler below):

in the books it's Varys who shows Tyrion the secret hatch to Tywins chamber

They were right next to the Eyrie... she asked where the bloody gate was and was told... Arya and the Hound had just come back from the bloody gate - that was the last time we saw them... when Arya heard her Aunt had died and in the episode before the wall one Brienne and Pod were heading towards the Eyrie from that cross roads... so an encounter with either Arya or Sansa was blatantly on the cards...

I was making a comparison with the books.
My post didn't make that entirely obvious, sorry.

Can someone explain the Iron coin bit at the end? What did she say in that strange tongue?

that was the coin the shape shifting bloke gave her and said to give to someone from Bravos if she wanted to find him... didn't she just say his name or something? If not then presumably she speaks some of their language thanks to the dancing teacher bloke...

not sure what she's playing at though... she had a chance to see Sansa yet for some unexplained reason she just decided to turn back when finding out her Aunt died ( maybe the hound made her as he wouldn't get a ransom now however she could go back to find Sansa now she's left him for dead). Also she was then going to head north to the wall and then just randomly decided to get on that boat... she had a horse and money - don't know why she didn't go find either her sister or Jon Snow.

The coin was given to her by one of The Faceless Men in I think it was season 2. He told her to give it to someone from Bravos and to say 'Valar Morghulis' if she ever wanted to find him.

I'm pretty sure that's what happened, not 100% though.

pretty sure this isn't a spoiler, books still haven't explained it:

Valar Morghulis = All men must die.
The captains response Valar dohaeris = All men must serve.

It's high valyrian. Oh and he originally says give it and say it if she needs help, not specifically to find him.

I really like the series but it's the same way with most things in it, they never come to anything. It's not that kind of story I suppose.

It's more like reality, people don't continually survive against the odds just because they are high on the cast list.

there's a lot more to that scene I think.

The box that tyrion got in - we've seen it before. Varys talked about being tortured and locked up in it a while back. This was explaining about how he became a Eunuch.

Not sure where he's taking tyrion and why he chose that box ?

And as for him changing his mind, we'll no doubt hear more about that in the next season. He obviously doesn't know he's killed Tywin and Shae yet which is what the bells were for. He did say to him "what have you done now" so I think we can conclude he's **** himself, and got on the boat too fearing he will be implicated in whatever tyrion has done.

Her head is full of death and killing, Her farther couldn't protect her, her mother couldn't protect her, Sansa was an idiot last she saw her. Jon she hasn't seen in years? Even the hound is dead (as far as she knows) she has little to nothing left. The two most influential people in her story line when you see how she behaves, have been from Bravos. She wants to become a little killing machine and likely feels no one can protect her but herself. In which she is likely correct.

Arya has always been the free spirit while Sansa was the silly naive one who went off to kings landing to marry a prince and live in a castle.

Arya couldn't be bothered with that and was always more a tom boy and wanted to swing swords and fight. Hence why her dad got her the training and the sword.

Wasn't it the box he had that guy (his old master?) shipped to him in? Explaining his past and how he was abused etc, then it shows you he now has the one responsible in a box.

Yeah. She has long been my favourite character, just hope she amounts to something in the end.

Great episode.

I don't know if Dany has locked her dragons away to die or just to control them. Seems like that would be a naff end seeing as they seem so intrical to the story.

Varys deffo sodded off to avoid all the shenanigans about to ensue. Problem is though, Cersei will now be sure he is involved so he is pretty much an outlaw. Jamie is easy. He can just plead innocence and blame Varys. Cersei will believe him.

No Lady Stoneheart. Did that surprise anyone? It did me, after Lena Headeys Instagram pic a few months back.

Oh, and Jon has certainly gone up I society now Stannis has found him. If I remember rightly, was Stannis the heir that Ned was trying to get to the throne?

Arya isn't aware Sansa is there AFAIK and vice versa neither knows how close they came to each other.

Yes maybe stannis sees him as a key to improve his army with the people of the north that are still loyal to the starks.

Also very interested to see how taking the king of the free people north of the wall plans out. After all he just asked can they hide behind the wall.

Is this the 1st season that no stark is killed at the end? Also most of the killed are kinda the bad guys so not much shock compared to the other seasons. The box tyrion is placed in is similar to the one Varys had the magican locked in. Also i would have liked a bit more back stroy on the children.
The only thing i dislike about GOT is having to hear the mother of dragon full tittle every freeking show!!!!
