Bender already ruled out moving anywhere this summer, if he doesn't want to go and Leverkusen don't particularly want to sell then I can't really see anything happening there.

I've only just prolonged my contract until 2019. I am happy here at Leverkusen and feel great. I don't need to change that right away. Moreover, my season wasn't that brilliant, so I don't feel I need to make the move to a huge club now.

Would much prefer Khedira anyway, just hope wages rumour is not true. Don't see why he would want more money than Ozil and Sanchez. £120/30k is plenty enough. £150k if true is taking a ****. Lol

Then next year buy some more Germans :p

Yeah Khedira looks a pretty good fit for us, if we can get him, Sanchez, Debuchy and keep Campbell I will be quite optimistic for next season.
 
I'd like Khedira too though I think it's a little optimistic, unless he's unsettled at Real then I don't see why he would want to leave them for us, or why they'd consider selling him. We should've made more of an effort to sign Luis Gustavo before he went to Wolfsburg.

He plays up front on his own, he holds the ball up, he brings the midfield into play, an aerial threat and gets back to defend. I like him, guess that will have to do for me :p

If / When RM officially announce Kroos (which is surely expected) , that would certainly make Khedira's chances of playing a lot less surely?

You don't get pts for chances, you get them for goals. 27 in 60 is pretty good. I don't care if he takes 20 shots a game as long as he scores. :D

It depends where they want to play him, I haven't watched Bayern play this season but I thought Kroos was somebody who plays behind the striker, with Khedira sitting much deeper than that. Is that not the case?
