Replacement psu turned up, laptop now powers up but screen is black. Plugging into external monitor makes no difference so guess the gfx card is shot..not cheap to replace argh :/

remove battery and power cable hold down power for 10 secs ... leave battery out and just apply mains power then try turning on .. if it boots fine to windows insert battery .

if its a card on a board.. pop it out and remove plastic/rubber and pop it in the oven for 20 mins (220) .. leave to coo and refit plastic/metal parts and refit

Had two tall mans finger drop for me today, one of them was better than the one I had, so that was nice :D

Still hunting (and gambling) for tasker and theo though.....

i bought this game, i looted a shield, sold it for as much as the game cost me, and then i quit the game :D

Yea umm... the Marketplace/AuctionHouse was closed by Blizzard earlier this year. The only way to get items now is to make them, loot them, or get them from a group member (from a drop that happened when you were in the same game).

Nice meeting a few of you ocuk guys today although a bit brief. :) was testing my new gtx card and it seems to cope better with really intense moments.

Trying to farm my RoRG, got tonnes of set gear so should be able to come up with something half decent.

Also started collecting a couple of +fire bits, or stuff i can enchant to be so for a CA build as the minute its just a random build that keeps me alive haha

You did well the other night at Torment 4 with me, Fallen and Fight... although Strafe is best left for T1 with medium gear, and T2 with high end gear.

started runs on T6 2 days ago - and now shooting along

gone from Paragon 185 to about 210 in no time at all

no getting any better drops (as expected) but seem to be getting better quality

had quite a few specials, including a Harrington

Ok, I think I'm at the point where I need some help from you guys.

Managing T3 ok but my WD is a bit squishy for T4.

Any advice;

I just find it helps to be able to run away from things, whilst still keeping the DPS there...i am still only T1 solo, only join anything higher with people who dont mind carrying me :p

I seem to be able to survive most things, which means i can be slightly helpful when with you guys as i can res you haha

Ha! I'm finding that the Rifts are getting very easy at T4, except for the Act 5 mobs. It just feels like T6. Nearly all of them can do off-screen charges that one-hit-kill you. So you literally have no way of knowing/surviving.

This is about the only good thing for DH's in the coming patch since I'm thinking the charge is physical damage, therefore armour should help.

Also D3 Devs said this:

We added a system in the expansion that tracks the amount of time you spend fighting creatures without finding a legendary and after a certain period of time will slowly start increasing the legendary drop rate. Once a legendary drops for you, actual item not crafting recipe or material, we reset that timer. This is meant to be a safety net so that the random can never be too extreme to the negative end. If players are legitimately going 18+ hours and not seeing a legendary it's possible that there are some bugs floating around that need to be identified.

There's hope for us all!

Switched to CA this morning, and T1 is now very easy :D

Only have a couple of +fire bits, but either way, things die...quickly :p

Only problem i have is that i can only pop 4 before im out of hatred, so a lot of hatred building / running after health globes

There are several ways to get more hatred...

You can get the Bat Companion (+1 Hatred regen per sec and when activated instantly gives you 50 hatred);
Get Reapers Wraps (restores 20-40% of primary resource when you pick up a health globe);
Blood Vengeance Passive skill gives you 25 more Hatred in your pool;

Instead of extra Hatred, you can focus on cost reduction stats...
Reapers Wraps, Cindercoat and Amulets can reduce cost of different elemental skills...

But the biggest kept secret is this helmet: Prides Fall. After not taking damage for 5secs it reduces the cost of all abilities by 30%.

Use preparation + wreapers wraps + cost reduction and the youl get into a nice flow :)

Currently have wolf companion as i had the cloak drop that summons 3 of them instead, which has knocked my DPS up a fair whack.

I have Blood Vengeance, and all stats have gone into cost reduction, but im still only <100 so not that many stats in there...will keep going, it does seem very effective at killing things before they get near me haha, and only had an hour or so to have a play about so im sure ill get used to it and with a bit more gear i think i will be well away :)
