It's okay man, I'd be in denial too (I didn't think it was likely either). :(

I wouldn't say this is a done deal yet, but it's starting to sound that way...

The only thing that made me sure he wasn't going to United is the prices being quoted, £35 million for Vidal is the steal of the century if that is the price.

Only other sources i have seen report on the Khedira move is Daily fail and bleacher report along with goal.com so no not any better than twitter:p.

Been hearing Khedira wants close to £200k a week to move to us, not sure how accurate that is but if it is true then he can go **** off. There is no way he is worth paying that much, sure hes a good player but hes not on par with the better players of the world.

Still hoping that the rumours about him wanting a huge pay packet at Arsenal arent true and that he does come to us in the end. If not Lars Bender is someone we should be looking at, meant to be very good and is young.

There is a vine of a german announcer asking where Khedira will be playing next season then Poldi shouting "Arsenal!!!!Arsenal!!!!"

He had surgery on it by the looks of it, maybe Juve know something Man U don't. Probably been forced out, they did snatch Pogba on a free. Would be good business for them..

Pretty sure we'll examine it thoroughly and check everything out. It doesn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary.

With no CL football and a threadbare team, who is going to want to go to Man U? Who says they won't be worse next season?

Yes, we might as well call it a day and go down to the Championship.

Come on, now.

I didn't mean they will be relegation fodder but look for example at AC Milan, they tripped, stumbled and now just can't get back up. I think with no CL football Man U will struggle to sign anyone. They wilol have to bank on Rooney, Mata and RVP firing next season.

No definitely not, you'll obviously have the best doctors around. United just don't watch him every training session. Can pick up a lot from that i suppose. Would try and definitely get that 35mil figure down though..

they'll just have to dish out a bit more cash to the players who have other CL teams interested in them. Obviously try and be shrewd in the market as well, but having United get a 750m sponsorship really is barmy. Helps a lot.

Well, we've already signed two very good players so that's a start...

At the end of the day, money talks, and we've got plenty of it. The sheer stature of the club will offset the lack of Champions League football, though I admit it would be a factor if a player had to pick between Real Madrid and us, for example.

Looks like it's just us in for Vidal (at the moment)... have to wrap it up swiftly!

Thing is the top CL teams have insane amounts of cash as well, kit deals or no kit deals. These days teams like Chelsea, RM, Barca PSG et al are so competitve in the transfer market it will not be easy for Man U, Even Arsenal have gotten into gear! And I forgot Man City as well! They're all going for that market share. Wonder how sane that Adidas deal will look in 5 years time!
