I've come off a bike several times in low speed <40mph incidents but never been unfortunate enough to hit stationary or moving objects. Usually just rolled to a halt.

I'm over 60 and all these incidents were before I was 25, full of **** and vinegar. Some were down to mechanical failure others probably excessive speed into bends.

I must admit pre 1973 I was reluctant to even wear a helmet and often did not.

Been riding since I was 27 and started in July 2012 so 2 years now.

Had 1 accident that was partly my fault (Going too fast for the situation) and partly the car drivers fault although the accident could have been completely avoided if I was going slower so I guess it could be said it is mostly my fault.

She turned through stationary traffic that I could not see passed due to 2 vans blocking my view and clipped me in the right leg and pushed my bike from under me, I landed with my left hand out and fractured my left wrist, left forearm and left shoulder and bike was kaput.

You live and you learn, I have defiantly grown up a lot since then and it has only been just over a year.

25, riding for 3 years and 2 crashes.
1 nice lowside on a greasy roundabout, bit of an aching shoulder but not much else.
second was worse, Managed to hit a deer on a corner and ended up in the ditch at the opposite side of the road. Broke my ankle because i never had my boots on, but the bad bit is that i was on my way to buy my new boots. bike luckily wasn't too bad, just need a new clutch lever and had a few small scratches because it ended up on the grass pretty quick instead of scraping the road.

Over 30, ridden bikes from age 5 but only passed test 6 years ago - One crash, lowside redgate corner donnington, CBR600RR luckily not my bike.

had a few minor off's due to other people.. or showing off .

Only one in last 10+ years was a few weeks before xmas.. out delivering xmas cards .
Was heading to my mates with my son who i had warned that the drive/road was slippery as the road has loads of trees and it gets very greasy !

The video make it look like i was going really quick but its cause its cctv and shot in frames . was only 4-5 mph and i was just covering the front brake and it tucked up under me

enjoy !!

2 in the space of 6 months after riding for 20+ years

1: Stopped at junction and someone ran into me from behind.
2: Roundabout, someone indicating to come off, wrong lane decides to not take the junction and cut me up. Spidey sense tingled on that one though so slowed down big time but left me no room hit the car about 5mph and broke my collarbone grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

(dont count the amount of times i fell off my 50cc and 125 when i was a pup, it was a lot but seemed to just bounce then)

Oops, i assumed accident meant coming into contact with another vehicle or similar.

As a result I voted under 30 not had an accident but i have came off my bike just through front wheel washing out on a roundabout :(

Nothing serious so far though, touch wood

I'm 27 and have come off. However, i was 16 at the time. Coming out of college on my TS50X (70cc bore kit and big one exhaust) and some poor girl pulled out in front of me.
I just bent her mirror back and bent my forks, straightened them out between my legs lol. She was really shook up as i went over on to her bonnet.

Since then, nope, unless you count the funniest "off" ever, just fell over sideways backing out of my mum's drive...

When I told my friends, family, and colleagues that I'd bought a motorcycle, the first thing that most of them said was that it was nice knowing me.
Tell them to stuff it up their proverbials, get off their phones and open their eyes.

So I was wondering how many of you have actually had an incident that involved you losing physical contact with your bike?
1/. Was bumped over by a car sideswiping me (he told the cops he wanted to be in the other lane and I was in the way, so he thought he'd give me a knock), although I remained holding on all the way.
2/. Hit a massive diesel spill (ie, it covered the whole road so I couldn't tell it was there) and went down, sliding off the bike.
3/. Rear ended at 60mph while I was stationary.

Too many spills off green laning to count but its expected when you do that.

Road bike I've dropped a couple of times whilst stationary, loaded up touring and simply over balanced. Forgot the side stand once too!
Then the high side at Silverstone, that one hurt! Mostly bad bruising to my chest, back, left ankle and a sore neck.

22, riding 5 years, 2 crashes.

1 - on my 125 being a prat after a massive downpour after a few very hot few weeks = greasy road. Bumps in the road caused the rear to lose traction and down I went. Bike had scuffs but was fine, I had a grased hip but ok (was wearing jeans).

2 - Last August. On a very familiar local road and it was slightly damp, lost the front whilst tipping into the corner, absolutely no grip. Bike scuffed, foot peg and rear brake lever snapped off. Not a mark on my body except I had a stiff ankle for the next two days and a bit of swelling from the bike slamming down on my ankle. Walking back to the scene it was very slippy underfoot with no clear discolouration on the surface, it looked like something was running off the trees overhead. There's been at least two car crashes on that spot since and my bike ended in a car-shaped hole in the hedge, so it can't be a coincidence! Much more careful on that particular corner these days, haven't had a problem since.

*****! fo real? Do you know what happened to him?
Yep, "fo real" indeed...
I rode home that night.
He had to take a taxi and got a producer. Beyond that, who knows.

Then again, at least twice a week I see cars go from Lane 1 across to Lane 5 in one sweeping manoeuvre, without looking or indicating, while in the middle of the roundabout bend. Obviously they expect other trafic to move out of their way (which also happens a lot), so perhaps certain models of car really *are* more important than everyone else and we've all just not gotten the memo yet...?

24, riding 9 months (6 on a CBF125, 3 on a ER-6F) ,1 crash.

The crash was in my first month of riding a CBF125. A car pulled out from a road to my left to go in the opposite direction to me. Not looking, he pulled out to cross the lane I was in and I hit the driver's door. He pulled out so late there was no time for me to stop. Thankfully I was doing sub-30 when I saw him and was wearing all the right gear.

He did have the courtesy to wait to see if I was going to be able to stand up before he sped off. Some ripped clothes and a stiff neck for a week wasn't going to put me of riding though.

Probably an uninsured driver and an asshat if he drove off, Shame you are only on a 125 otherwise you should have chased him down!

probably did you a favour not stopping, did you claim through nib i think it is or mib

i had one not stop on me,pulled over on me on a roundabout and knocked me off, then drove off

I have come off three times, usually an indication I need a new bike upgrade, the last on I went over a car bonnet and luckily only fractured a bone in my elbow.
