I get so annoyed with snobby 500+ players kicking you when joining a T6 rift

I can see where they are coming from - from a speed perspective - they want all 400-500s - and those below should not apply - but the games are meant to be "public" after all

If u have the dps they really have no reason to kick u

Its almost fair enough if you've joined and you're not making any progress and constantly resurrecting

but often you get kicked before you even join a rift - very annoying

Honestly, I wouldn't be happy about having really low paragon level players in my game at T6 unless they're friends or have the gear for it.

But to kick them because they aren't 400+ seems silly unless they contribute absolutely nothing (constantly dying, etc)

Quick question for all but primarily for barbs

How are you surviving without the passive life per resource spent ?

Im trying to find a play style without relying on it but im struggling to. Is the general playstyle without Bloodthirst passive is to kill them first before they get to you ?

I think levelling paragon level is the key since upping strength has no limits. I currently comfortably do T3 and need to up my dmg to elites if I go T4 and rarely to T5. Yes one way is to kill them before they kill you or use shock make them dizzy. Still use bloodthirst till I get higher paragon level and able to increase my fire dmg and elite dmg.

Good luck

I sometimes join my friends for T5 and to be honest I do almost not damage compared to them. crit at 3M or hota 10M versus them hitting around crit around >20M. Why would you do T6 anyway since you would die very very quickly and surely it doesnt make sense. would be better to grind at T that you are comfortable and then try one higher every now and then especially with friends who can help you.

Not to be one of those snobby players as I avoid public like the plague anyway. But I play T6 and the couple of times I tried public it had sub p100 people in with next to no gear just wanting to get boosted.

Some kind of loose matchmaking feature would be nice for public as I have no intention on ever playing it again with the amount of bad players you get expecting a free ride.

if your friends have no issue carrying you through T6 then why wouldn't you? higher drop chances for legendaries and more shards to gamble.

will you die a lot? yes, but playing in a group (I found) always yielded more legendaries / sets drops and once people can do T6 they won't go back to T5/4 just so you won't die as much :p

hey guys just logged in to d3 and noticed i seem to not be in the clan anymore? or is it just my game messing up lol

:edit looks like my game was messing up showing clan now lol :)

Cheers for this.

Tried a couple of rifts without the bloodthirst and found it very awkward. But clearly I lack the damage needed to burst them down while mobs are stunned

My playstyle definitely needs to change first then up my dmg. As I got used to standing and spamming spenders

Yep things like The Furnace will be very powerful 2 handers. I'm waiting till 2.1 lands on the main client as I find playing the PTR a waste of time and I'll be burned out if I continue playing the current patch till then.

Been playing a new seasonal WD on ptr, 70 and paragon 25 or so, haven't had a goblin rift yet but did pickup the new leorics crown, haven't really come across anything interesting yet though. Think i will go back to my live characters for now and leave ptr Alone and wait for the patch to land.

Still no Mask of Jeram. The amount of legendary helms / voodoo masks I've had both drop and from Kadala is ridiculous. It isn't even that rare!! I've had far rarer items but RNG is RNG and all that.

Ah well we carry on!

A friend of mine has had 4 Shard of Hates drop on the same character but no SoJ, I've had 4 SoJ's but not SoH's :D. My favourite one was the Iceclimbers I had drop, rarest boots in the game, hadn't seen them in hundreds of hours and they drop on my DH with strength and +Barb skill...RNG is RNG.

Haven't been playing all that much recently, like others I'm waiting for 2.1 to hit. Looking forward to the seasonal ladders and starting a fresh character, Mara DH is getting pretty boring.
