Wow - just found this thread. I drink 2 to 4 litres of Pesi Max every day! My son drank more than me (But he's just had braces fitted so had to stop as it reacts with the glue)
I used to only drink water - or alcohol until my late 20's.
I don't like the tap water where I live now as it has too much chlorine in it, hell you can smell it let alone taste it. I occassionally buy bottled still water but begrudge doing so as it should be free from the tap!
I also drank hugh quanties of strong black coffe - not the instant stuff - whilst working nights. But I was getting sleep issues on days off between shifts and very bad caffeine withdrawls if I missed the coffee on my days off day. Now I only have one black coffee per shift but at least 2 litres of Pesi Max (3 shifts on 3 off rotation). I found this thread whilst trying too work out how much caffeine I was ingesting via my Pesi Max as I still sometimes have problems that could be put down to caffeine withdrawl and if I'm visiting my parents for the day I tend to drink their water only.

"I used to work for a subsidiary of the Pepsi cola corporation,,,In the US the Pepsi Max formula is different from the UK version,,why? because the UK version allows a chemical banned in the US for medical reasons...now enjoy your Pepsi"

"•Try and make out the list of ingredients and if among them you see the name Aspartame then don't touch the stuff. They say it is an artificial sweetener but it isn't. It was banned by the FDA.. the food inspectorate of the USA until the boss was sacked and a new boss was appointed by none other than the boss of the company that produced this drug..none other than the vice president of the USA!!!!!! "Pepsi Max and other products with artificial sweeteners are thought not to affect peoples weight, as they contain no calories. That’s an oversimplification that ignores any hormonal effects and resulting hunger. If the sweeteners slow your fat burning and increase your hunger they will of course affect your weight – calories or not.
What is clear from the experiment is that something happened. The ketone level dropped precipitously. My interpretation is that this potentially could result in a decreased fat burning, making it harder to lose weight. Perhaps this is due to insulin release, perhaps not.
I wonder: What if your fat burning is impaired for more than five hours, every time you ingest artificial sweeteners?
One objection: Was the culprit the artificial sweeteners or the caffeine in the soda? This experiment can’t tell, but I would gladly bet money on the sweeteners. Perhaps I’ll do a similar experiment later, drinking black coffee instead."
I think I need too seriously cut down/or out my Pesi Max!
