ISIS and Islamic militants - discussion

And did anyone one notice our two main Muslim right wingers are in.

Zoomee with a comment of roflmao

and

e36Adz with it's a conspiracy and nothing to do with Muslims and its all set up by the Jews and the west.

Authorities would like to know they support the murder of children I would guess they are just the type of idiots they like to keep an eye on.

So the US has carried out four new airstrikes overnight. It's not exactly shock and awe is it? I think Islamic State is mainly comprised of highly mobile, infantry and cavalry units which will always be difficult to target with air strikes.

They seem to be taking a much more careful approach this time, they don't need or want shock and awe, they want to give ISIS a bloody nose and stop their advance. Then hopefully once they have lost momentum the various national military groups in the area can get themselves sorted and do the real boots on ground work.

In the meantime taking out some of the heavier ISIS equipment is removing one area where they had an advantage over the various local militias. Without that equipment progressing is going to be slower and bloodier for ISIS.

The US doesn't want to destroy ISIS, they want the governments in the area to do it. Or even better from the US standpoint, force ISIS back into Syria and against Assad.

Ah he's died a martyr - its what he would have wanted... hope his parents are proud. I do wonder about the relatives of some of these jihadi types... are they really dumb or just ambivalent to the whole thing - he told them he traveled there supposedly because was volunteering to take part in a 'convoy'.

Probably spoon them poisonous ideas on the west his whole life.
Shocked so many people have such a poor grasp on the history of the crusade era they seem to believe the west was some invading conquering armies.

It was more a reaction to finding any part of this horrendous situation 'hilarious' whether it relates to using a light aircraft or not.

There's nothing funny about what's happening.

When I see posts like yours on the internet, you know the sort, indignation at anyone who doesn't hold your line or uphold your own perceived appropriate tone, I imagine a very angry thin bloke, with long hair, scraggy facial hair, glasses, smoking roll ups and getting very angry at people. I am probably miles off, but it does create that image in my mind.

To your point, I don't need a lecture on tone from you thanks. I am well aware how horrific things are out there and don't intend to debate your personal perspective on what you deem appropriate.

I don't know why we can't go in and make a protective "exit corridor" to let all the innocents escape from these barbaric sky fairy worshiping deluded ****wits.

When they go in and start dancing on the "holy land" or whatever it is they think they have captured, we should drop every god damn incendiary device we own on the lot of them, then send all the innocents back home, helping them to rebuild their homes, get them running water and electricity and educate them so it never ****ing happens again.

ARGGH

I watched 2 kids no older than 12 be lined up and shot around 50 times. They then shot I guess parents and went on to behead the father? with a small lock knife whilst 5-6 people filmed on phones, it took a while. I couldn't watch it all and it has haunted me since.

Truly words can not describe the evil that is ISIS.

What were you waiting for before stopping watching this? The credits to roll?

History repeating itself.

Murderous islamists rampaging taking over Christian, Jewish, other faith who have been living side by side for ,100's or 1000's of years trying to impose their (new found faith) on the world.

The first crusade was to help restore normality to those people who were suffering and to RETAKE land. Will we be required to do it all over again?

What's funny don't it match the lies you have been fed?

Educate yourself.

Theres nothing funny about innocent people dying. I'm laughing at badcompanys pathetic contradictory 'crusades' justification, followed by a link to his obviously biased 'crisismagazine' - trust certain individuals here to try and twist my post to fit their own biased agendas.

Here's a more un-biased article about the crusades written by ex-christians:

I'll never be pro-ISIS - in fact the opposite. If what the western media are propagating about them is true - I hope they get wiped off this planet. But one thing I've learned since the original lies of the Iraq war and the 'war of revenge' on afghanistan is that western media are very good at making up propaganda to fit the governments 'foreign agenda'.

What is interesting is that the likes of badcompany and the other anti-muslamics here didn't bat an eyelid when ISIS were slaughtering muslims. Citing the usual 'leave them to it' lines if they did bother to voice an opinion.

As soon as a couple of churches and christians are involved their all over it, soaking in Obama's propaganda to start 'bombing'. It's pathetic and goes to show that human life is only of values to certain individuals here if it involves their own faith. ALL human life is sacred to me, irrespective of their religion.

I will NEVER agree with bombing a country. Too many innocent people get killed. The life taking of ONE innocent person is not justifiable in this age of advanced weaponry the likes of the US and others claim to have.

MOST if not all of the problems in the middle-east are just exasperated by western intervention - If we didn't start the Iraq war there would have been no ISIS. The main problem is that when we go to war in a country we also back our own puppets being in power. IF they are not pro-US/UK then we help overthrow them. Been doing this for years and then wonder why the middle-east is such a broken place? - It's our own doing.

For people who think that they aren't as bad as everyone's making out watch this.
