What's the service charge like, though?
I have a lovely one bed, looking over London's skyline. The development is like a 5* hotel - valet parking, spa/gym/pool, cinema, skyline panoramic Bar.
I've done the house share thing, but once I could afford it I moved into my own place. In London you share because you have to financially, not out of choice.
I think its fine to house share between 18-28, while at university and at the beginning of your career (the transitionary stages) but after this, it's time to grow up.
I earn circa £130,000 per year.. im 28
*COME AT ME BRO*
Never have. But never say never!
Gotta be honest, I've been tempted.. When you see 10k per month hit your account, a bag of cocaine and hooker is tempting! lol

Does not being able to live with others really make you grown up?
Looks like it's less than that, from a quick Google. It'll be somewhere between £2300 and £7000. But it's built into your rent, so essentially you do pay it, no?
As for zegna, that's all well and good, but you would need to pay me to ever live in Tower Hamlets again.![]()
Bit more subtle.... you're getting better
That's a nice apartment, my friend has a 2 bed apartment in the Heron - with similar facilities. I know he pays in the region of £7k a month for that. If I was single, it's definitely where I'd be living.
Is £550 per day a good rate these days? I'll have to review what I pay the contractors who work for me if it is, as I'm overpaying the buggers...
I wouldn't... would be very dull at the weekends. A single person spending spend 7k a month in rent should probably look at West London.
Good rate for what? Completely depends on the skill set - for one of the dev teams at my place with guys working on aggregation & execution software... they can end up at clients at rates up to double that figure. (and sometimes subsequently sued by the company for breaching their non-compete agreement.)

Lots of people living alone. Sounds grim.
Me and my gf. Lots of people living alone. Sounds grim.
