Someone who doesn't want to shell out for a new mobo or DDR4?
The CPU and boards have great prices but the ram is horrific, so thats stopped me! £300 for 32gb! wahhhh, hell no, I got 32gb Patriot 2-3 years ago new for like £140 ish.
Is 32gb really going to be needed for the next couple of years, I'm thinking of doing 16gb for the next 12 months then upgrade.
I'm interested to know if the differences in speed are worth the extra ££
I run a lot of Virtual machines, do a fair amount of rendering work so I've been running 64GB on my current workstation
I'd be looking for 32GB as a bare minimum. I presume ordering 2 kits of 32GB still isn't an ideal solution
wtf, everything sold out already?
Not on there yet, 5pm
