FIFA 15

All i want is to be able to play leagues and tourneys against the AI, am i going to be expected to fork out on packs to progress?
Yes, you can play tournaments, single matches and league games vs AI in Ultimate Team. You're not limited to playing MP. No you don't have to fork out on packs, though, a tenna here and there does no harm. ;)

You'll earn coins by playing games, winning tournaments and playing through the leagues, which you can then buy packs with or purchase players from the transfer market.

Costa has been an animal for me in 14, i'll have to get him in fut 15, so strong in the penalty area.

He's absurd in the demo too. Once I have the coinage I'm going to have to build a Chelsea/Bayern hybrid. Can't go full PL as it goes against all my principles, lel.

Still not sure but was going to get this on american psn for a fiver cheaper to play three days earlier but still got my ultimate team edition ordered from tesco for £42. I guess my OCD will be fine with fifa being on a different account as long as I can play it on my main, plus fifa is an annual thing anyway..

One question though, if I make my american account as the "primary account" on my ps4, could my sisters account still use my PS+ or does the PS+ have to be on the primary account to be shared?

Thanks for info ^.

I played the demo on XBOX 360 and PS3. Found it good...I mean...nothing ground breaking in my opinion. I don't think any year I have found a massive step up on the one before. Always subtle changes. But... to me it's the main game I play the most often over the course of a year so worthwhile upgrading just to get the latest players and teams up to date. It's a real cash cow for EA as they could bring all this via an update each year, but obviously will never do this as they want to make money. That's not a criticism, just reality.

I found the players in the demo quite a bit faster when sprinting. I also found you can't seem to just run into the ball/player to tackle quite as easily now. I think tackling is harder generally. I still find free kicks a bit....meh. Can't seem to hit them with pace. I know you can do power shots in a straight line, but the curling dipping shots always seem to be hit too slow. New skins and improved crowd stuff is cool. Didn't really notice much else to be honest, but then I haven't read up on what is new.

Doubt there's going to be much change on the last gen version seeing as EA seem to be focusing their attention to PS4/XBONE now

Just bought the standard digital edition on ps4 £59-99 cant be doing with hassle of going to a shop or taking a gamble the disc doesn't come til monday in post.

Comes with 15 packs over 15 weeks way I see it is by the time I get to about 3 -4 weeks in I don't need those 40 free packs over 40 weeks anyway.

£10 more for a lot less hassle and unlocks at midnight 25th-26th a good 9 hours before many people be seeing it hit their doormat discounting the lucky ones who get it a day early.

Suprising how close retail is to psn this year I guess they are drawing ranks together.

It's down to £12 right now trade in £8 cash hardly worth the bother of going to a retailer for the sake of 8-12 quid probably be down to 5 quid come next week.Bet it's £52-99 "instore" too.Plus you get to play it late thursday night well 5 minutes past 12 instead of friday 9am onward.

Might hold offor ordering until I've played the pes 2015 demo, this maybe the year I switch back to pes after a long time, oh how I want the excitement of iss 64 to return

Tbh I bought this digital on the XO this year. I prefer going the digital route. Sure it works out more expensive but I know I will have it working day one and not have to worry about if the disc will get here on time. Buying from a Fnac or Media Markt in Belgium would cost me ~60+ euros. So the price difference between a euro priced disc and the digital UK price is not huge. I know I will get my money's worth from Fifa and it won't be traded in so not being able to trade it in doesn't bother me.

Also means my gf can leave the Disney Infinity disc in the XO when that arrives at the end of the week and I don't have to keep changing discs when I want to play Fifa :p

I got the Ultimate edition pre-ordered for £42, so it's closer to £18 but fair enough if digital suits you better.
