iPhone 6+ bendgate issue.

Not being ignorant at all, but I stand by my non-issue comment. Stuff like this happens all the time with newly released products, just you don't hear about it because it's not Apple.

I'm the first to comment on Apples **** quality control since Steve died, but this particular "problem" isn't something worth complaining about unless it happens to more than a few people

It's way more then a "few" people though, there are people claiming to have bent iphones on Reddit, Macrumous, In comment sections on places like The Verge... everywhere, and the more it's reported the more other users are finding they have bent phones too.

It's not just because it's Apple, it's because it's a legitimate problem that is effecting customers who have paid lots of money.

Wow calm down! Have you called Apple about your bent phone? What did they say?

Samsung had big negative press with the S4 for giving users of a 16GB phone only 8.8GB of usable space. I'll agree there is more talk about this because this is Apple but then the whole iPhone release/launch gets way more press than any other manufacture so its swings and roundabouts.
Just because this is negative people seem to take offence and feel the need to back Apple's corner like it's a personal attack...

My phone is bent too.

Keeps calling me gorgeous, the theme has gone pink and it's and trying to send iMessages to my girlfriend saying it's over because I've fallen for something big, black and shiny.

I think mine might be gay - it keeps opening the instragram feed of one of my sister's gay friends! I'm sure my phone fancies him.

I almost picked one of these up in Phoenix on Sunday but thought I'd wait, in case any problems started coming out..

Interestingly, looking at most of the pictures and videos - it looks like a weak section in the design around where the volume controls are,

I bet apple release a special case for you to put it in, before you put it in your pocket - a bit like they did with the iphone 4 signal issue, where people had reduced signals if they held the phone a certain way :D

I like it how people are saying it's a non issue, as theirs hasn't bent yet despite it being like a week. If it is bending like it seems to be, think you will still have a straight phone in 6minths? Or a year? All it takes is a bit of extra pressure, that you haven't done in the last few days.
Also loo at you don't hear about it with non apple devices, uggrrrhhh yes you do.

There's a good reason for that, the success. It's not a surprise that the single biggest selling phone by a massive market, affects more people and is featured in the media more.
Samsung sell marginally more phones, but that's spread out over like 30models, not 3/4 models.
