The only command that I can see makes any difference these days that I use is -freq 120 in launch options to make sure my monitor is outputting 120hz.

Cookeh - 21, stick me down for this age thing. Fridays and Mons are a write off, any other day is generally OK after 2000 hours.

Anyone else had an issue where the game crashes with what sounds like a sound loop, seems to be happening to me at least every 20mins. Makes trying to enjoy this really hard :(

Verify game integrity, delete and download again, install on different hard drive.

No luck, cache was fine. Reinstalled to my SSD, updated my sound card drivers but still the same thing.

Randomly the game will just stick with a sound looping, booting me to the desktop even though the game is still running in its hung state.

All very odd.

I used to have something similar, and turning off multi processing in the video options tab fixed it completely.
