CS:GO Weapon Case 1/2 drop very very infrequently, so they cost more. Also, nobody knew prices will shoot up, so nobody stacked them (like they do now).

Played a bit more yesterday. Decided I might as well buy myself a bling paint job as I had funds on my steam account just sitting there. Got myself an M4A1-S Atomic Alloy. :o

Played a bit more Demolition and a little bit of casual (but the maps that are not currently in the comp arena).

Anyhoo, casual was a bit better. Got my ass kicked ever so slightly less than last time :D

In Demolition I had a Nova. Went toe to toe with a guy with a pistol. He needed to reload and I was like hahah, now your mine! But he pulled his knife so we danced around the porch of Safe House like Tom and Jerry. Well anyway, to cut a long story short, it did not go well for him. It went frickin' awesome! He did me in. Knife vs Nova! :o

He was clearly older than me. As we know, skill ferments with age to become more potent. More deadly. I reckon he must have been about 80 :p

I too have noticed there's a difference between "old skills" and "young skills". The skilled youngster will often just kill you instantly with their quick reflexes where as older good players dominate through placement and by predicting your next moves.

I don't think it makes a huge difference at the lower levels (LE and below). Might be more of a problem at the higher levels, where milliseconds count.

I dont think there is more then 10ms lost per decade in reactions. Top tier I guess thats all it might take

nice market dynamics. Im keeping the howl authors gear in case

Spent about the last 2 days play learning and practising all the main smokes and flashes on Dust2 and Nuke. Some really easy ones on Nuke which should make taking upper a doddle with 3 people in static positions with good cover:

1 - Smoke heaven from roof, pop flash roof lights twice, wallbang heaven.
2 - Nade squeaky, smoke main through squeaky, flash main twice.
3 - Smoke the site entrance of hut by bouncing off wall, pop flash by same method, nade hut roof by throwing nade from hut window and bouncing off opposite wall.

Players 4 and 5 watching outside and radio to stop outflanking.

Plenty of youtube videos. Basic tactics really but never done it in practise. Mirage and Inferno next. Mirage smokes are essential and I've still not bothered to learn them yet.

Smoke heaven from roof

hows that work, smoke will go through skylight ?

They'll be in rafters possibly, flash might be better. Sounds good overall, coordinated nades. Vs russians, they may just rush lobby while you stand with nades in hand :)

In theory I can smoke mid but where to stand varies by res you run. I can smoke truck on cache also, often slightly off though in both cases
