Read symthic forums. (Burst or tapfire, don't spray and, other gems)
Teamwork (You can rank up your classes quickly initially just by helping your squad with ammo or health)
Q like crazy (spots the enemy)
Try to have fun and don't get hung up about your stats. :)

I think the speed of movement and reg improvements have just widened the gap and made it harder for newer players.

I found these made things easier, but I guess I've spent a lot of time playing.
Does this mean I'm not a noob anymore? Have I been promoted to casual? :D

I've been using the AWS since I got over 10000 kills with the mg4 and it's quite similar, but the mag seems a bit small (Only 100 rounds  :p).

For assault I've recently started to feel the love for the SCAR which is just awesome but it's mag is tiny. (Often run out trying to get my 3rd kill from a mag).
Can normally quick ADS HS with it even against someone who saw me first, it's that good.

I was hoping that getting good with the SCAR would lead me onto the M240B for support, but that is a real beast to handle in comparison to the mg4 or AWS.

The nice thing about the SCAR is that the reload is really quick, so its great for peaking. I would imagine you would need to adjust your play style if your constantly trying to take down 3 people with a single clip.
