I believe Ford own/owned rights to badge it as a Duratec engine but it's designed by Mazda

Cool car Nath, I actually saw a few while I was in Florida, one had some Cobb Tuning stickers on it and sounded pretty nice!

Any plans for it yet?

Thanks man. Nah just usual swapping out bulbs to led ones for now!

I'm sure in the coming months it will gain some choice modifications along the lines of a remap, exhaust etc.

Just looking forward to enjoying the car as it is, double the power that I'm used to!

Some parts have been left on as part of the deal and others iv taken off.

The labour costs to remove some parts negates the money you would get back from selling them. Eg lowering springs

Tax is £285 for the year on the mk2 model which what iv got.

All mk1 models were made post 06 so they are £485 a year.

Mazda made tweaks to mapping to reduce the emissions somewhat.
