$$$$$ BLACK FRIDAY: ENGAGE! $$$$$

So are people's orders from last week still in the warehouse queue or is it just those affected by the SSD offer?

My order from yesterday morning (no SSD!) is still showing as:

Order Status: In our warehouse queue

So it's not just you.

Just received my invoice and DPD tracking for my SSD. Its not recognising it though.
I ordered 940am Friday. Don't mind waiting though.

I'm more concerned about the Haribo.

I ordered my GPU on Saturday and was on pre order for the 1-12-14 which then changed to the 2-12-14 Yesterday.

today I got a e mail stating its been dispatched and also shows as dispatched on the order in my account.

from what I understand\read the SSD issue is that the website updates itself every 5 to 15 minutes and there was such a demand for the SSD once they had all gone 50 odd orders still went through as the website had not updated to say it was out of stock.

Gibbo I think is in talks with intel to see if he can get some more stock

I maybe wrong but just trying to help out with some answers on the SSD issue.

Whatttttt, I ordered less than 2 hours after offer starts and not got past "in warehouse queue", you order 15 hours after and it has been dispatched?! Do you have free delivery option?

Did you all only order 1 drive or multiple? I wonder if they prioritised people who ordered multiple and had lots of orders for two.

Just 1 drive and another £1500 of goodies... Including items out of stock and 'full' price, so I'm a wee bit annoyed indeed.

240GB version? That one is listed as 10+ in stock again.

I'd imagine the opposite. They can make two customers happy, or one. Makes more sense to fulfil the single orders I think? Would spread out their stock. Amazon have limited ppl to 1 of certain deals for example, possibly to stop people ordering just to re-sell.

I got a dispatch email for my 240gb drive though this morning. Which was a surprise. Perhaps Gibbo got hold of more stock :)

Edit: Looks like Gibbo got hold of more 240gbs. They are in stock again now for £139. The 480s don't seem to be.

Ah yes I ordered the 480gb, what price did you pay for the 240gb?

My PayPal was processed and confirmed by 20:10.... I get how the order of the orders became screwed up then. Slightly more bemused how Friday morning orders were fulfilled first?

I ordered the 240gb version. I do qualify for free delivery. Hope DPD don't try delivering after 530pm as the building is locked up then. The tracking reference isn't working.

Another plus though is 2 packets of Haribo with my O rings #feeling favoured

Tried to order the Samsung 32D850D monitor several times this morning, but it kept returning to the previous page when I pressed the step 5 button.

I couldn't order any sooner than this morning as the funds were tied up elsewhere, but the attempts to purchased were at 7.45 onwards, so there was plenty of time left.

Not happy that ive missed out on the deal through no fault of my own.

If there is no conclusion to this, it could be a black Friday, this is no customer service section but I get the idea that a great deal on Intel SSD's had burnt quite a few people!.

I did not order one but its not great press that customers days later are in limbo and even losing out because you "the site" allowed them to spend their money but without being able to supply the goods.

If no goods are delivered then surely OC should offer the effected customers some compensation. Even more so if they took money for a product they will not deliver and customers have to await a refund.

This is even worse than the pre-order farce that takes peoples money to bank roll stock before it even lands.

Isnt it strange that I had the opposite experience.... I tried to order something that was/is in stock but the website wouldn't take my money.
