Dressing your age.

A great tip I learned was that you can show boob or leg but never both so bear that in mind when you're getting dressed in the morning. A hint of either does not mean that you cannot go full banzai on the other but, you know, let's keep ourselves classy out there ladies, okay?

e: ^ I don't know - anime t shirts are pretty rad.

30 is still young.. Why does anyone need to change the way they dress? If you if you are happy?

I'm pretty lazy when it comes to casual wear, plain t-shirts and jeans but I like to dress up when i go out. Apart from not falling for the super charged high street shopping clobber, such as Super dry and fatface, nothing's changed and I'll wear anything that like.

The short sleeve shirt is my one serious fashion hate. I find them repulsive lol. A long sleeve shirt with the sleeves pulled up looks 100 times better. Maybe try it as an alternative and you will look a lot more smart.

^^ This. A thousand times this.

I feel exactly the same way.

Just go chinos, shirt, v neck/cardigan etc, throw a jacket (not suit) in the mix every now and again.

Smart casual.

24 here and literally change what I wear daily. Never really thought about what other people think, more so I'll just wake up and decide to wear something different. I don't wear tracksuits though. But at work usually, DC trainers, jeans and a hoody. But sometimes polo shirts, chino's... my coworkers must think I'm mad ;)

Should I have added a smiley face to denote a joke? Do I look 60 to you old man?!

Wear what you want and what you feel comfortable wearing. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, be you. If you want to try a different look then go for it, but do it because you want to not because you think others expect it. My wife tried to change the way I dress a few years ago and even bought me some clothes. I never wore them and she gave up. To this day I refuse to wear a shirt unless I'm at work.

OP, I'm 27 and I got the same feeling a couple of months ago. My problem wasn't really the style of clothes I was wearing, more the fit. My work trousers and shirts were too baggy. Also my shoes and belt were a bit scruffy. Now I'm starting to really think about the clothes I'm wearing.

Despite what people say, what you wear IS important. It's all about perception. If you look like a proper gent then people are far more likely to treat you as such.

Also it never hurts to be the best dressed guy at a social gathering.

For the record I'm not dressing for other people, I'm dressing for myself. It's my own feelings that make me think I sometimes dress a bit younger or less smart than I should at 30yrs old.

I really like fashion. I really appreciate when someone is well dressed. It's just a shame it costs so much to dress great all the time. I've also been lazy with my own so I'm gonna need to consciously step up my game :)

How far can you chaps roll your sleeves up then?

I'm don't have massive arms, but I can't roll a long-sleeved shirt up to the same sleeve length as a short-sleeved shirt...

Vest, zipper hoody, peaky blinder hat, reasonably smart jeans & baseball trainers.

As you can guess I don't really care about fashion at all..., besides the very smart look doesn't quite fit with the tattoos.

I was thinking about this the other day, and find that I wear shoes most days now rather than trainers. Black for work, and Tan for other times.
Mostly at home now its tan shoes, jeans, tan belt and polo.
Just sorta feels right..
