Show Us Your Motors!

Mate has same Recaros in his ST, at least everything below the headrest area looks the same, I think they're too firm and even with my slim "build" I find it a chore getting in and out of them.

Careful geekman...out cycling in Eynsford earlier this year we stopped for a rest near the ford. Guy in a Jeep came along and couldn't be bothered to wait for cars on the bridge so went straight into the water. Made it 3/4 if the way across before hydrolocking. Looked a right plum sitting there stranded with steam pouring from his bonnet with everyone watching :D

I admit it was slightly deeper than I'd expected, even though I'd looked at the depth gauge. It was just one of those things that had to be done though :p

Looks fun but... somebody was kind enough to lend you a car to use and the first thing you did was take it wading for the lulz? Seriously? :p

It was my dad who lent it to me, he'd be more surprised if I hadn't done something like that with it. :p He used to drive me through it all the time when I was a little kid, needless to say I haven't grown up at all.

Thought I'd post these on here finally! I bought this back in March to replace my Megane (which I had for over four years!)

It's a 2008MY Saab 9-3 Aero Convertible with the Hirsch performance chip (240hp) and Hirsch exhaust

Exhaust audio clips? They do look rather nice!

Also didn't know Hirsch branched outside of watch straps ;)

Sorry but what is so good about the spec compared to germans?
I don't see no dual zone climate, heated seats, does yours have the screen build into the mirror for reversing camera?

Finding something in the same price range and age/mileage (given I do 18-20k a year so any cars I own become moonmilers fairly fast, I put 60k on the Smart in just over 3 years) that has leather/alcantara, nav, voice, A2DP, keyless entry/start, auto/dsg (I'm really lazy with my daily!) with a petrol thats either fun or economical is basically impossible from a German manufacturer.

I agree the spec isn't epic - its about right for a daily. However unless I started to look at F10s and put up with a diesel it was very tricky to find a car with that sort of spec. And Germans seem to have totally forgotten about petrol engines!

Only thing I want to fit is a HID kit, as it has projectors it will look fairly factory and won't be blinding :) Shame xenons were never an option really, the Prius now gets LED lighting but I couldn't quite bring myself to buy a Prius!

Yeah I think Housey had them in his RS4 and didn't rate them

They were form over function I felt, not bad but not the best. However, I know a big tall chap (6'8") who believes them to be the best seats he has ever sat in. For me those seats were in my dads SD1 Rover Vitesse!

Gave the TT ;) a quick wash, rinse, snow foam, RO rinse and then air dry.
The only protection on it is the autoglym stuff the dealership put on but it seems to work really well
