What do I change my MTU to?
Still can't get on here.
And how do I do it?

likewise what do we change it to?

Anyways this is shocking. PSN has been down since xmas eve.

gutted for those who unwrapped a shiny new ps4 and cant play online.

Or those adults who have xmas time off work and time to catchup on some video games.

shocking.

Why am i paying £40 a year sub for?

The PC platform works perfectly fine.

I thought consoles meant to be robust and easier then the PC platform?

Imagine of these consoles had to be online to play any game at all..

Stop whining man!!
Change it to 1476 ;)

Mine appears to be behaving itself now (actually seems really quick), haven't made any changes to the network settings etc..

Going to give installing the new drive a go

Steam got DDoS'd a little while back.

Bad people do bad things, we have to deal with it.

Changed MTU, but the test still fails when signing into PSN. Tried the default 1500 and 1476.

No offence to anyone, but having to even change the MTU setting means the underlying issue is still not fixed.

Millions wouldn't know this, or even know.bother to change it if they did (and it may not even work, like in my case!)

MTU 1473 worked for me, although it did fail during the 'test'.

So you're better off saving the settings and just trying to sign in normally.

Dont see the point in messing about with the settings when its Sonys end that's messed up. When i booted up my PS4 this evening, and played some GTA, i connected straight away like normal.

I turned my PS4 off (turned off, not in rest mode) and turned my router + modem off for around 20 minutes, switched on and been working fine since. Only played FIFA today, didn't need to change my MTU settings.
