That Ikea light... Would you please measure from the ceiling down to the bottom of the 'ball' when extended. Trying to picture whether two of them would work over the breakfast bar.

The ball fully opened is 16 and a half inches

you can have it so the top of the ball touches the ceiling when fully opened

but mines currently sitting at 21 inches from ceiling to bottom of the orb fully opened.

and for anyone wondering.. It looks even better now its night time

2015 is just wrong, I can see them going back on the neck next year, there's no reason to make it wider, it's fine as it was.
