Dying Light - PC next gen zombie open world game?

Got a good team of four going, all english speaking and we did a night run perfectly. The game is great when you get that element of teamwork thrown in too, but epic alone also. So much fear at night that I tend to watch my minimap rather than what's ahead of me

Had 2 so far, only been playing for about 30-40 mins.

Just played 6 hours straight with my real life mate from the start of campaign.... soooooooooo fun drop kicking sliding zombies off buildings.. my first 3 deaths was from him throwing molotovs at me lol...

he got this 130 damage axe that splits zombies in half.. the level system in this game is top notch too..

best FPS ive played since half life..

Are you getting the resizebuffer error?

If so, it's a known bug, which I was also getting. Setting my GPU to default clocks has cured it.

"Worth a buy" on YT really didn't like this, I usually broadly agree with what he says but I think he's entirely missed the point on this game. It's hilarious.

Anyone got in-game voice comms working well? We keep having to use our TS server as they're a bit iffy. Not sure what the issue is.

TIP: Do the police vans, have found a couple of guns in them.

How are graphics and physics in terms of killing the zombies?

I have watched a few videos, one of them from the PS4 admittedly, but I wasn't that impressed by what I saw.

Is it as realistic as it could be by todays standards, or is there too much blood 'splash', heads just vanish, and generally a bit arcade looking kills/deaths?

Been playing this co-op with my brother and it is absolutely fantastic. We are about 20-25% through the story

Just gone into the School and found the explosives and been told about the Bolters

but have racked up close to 15-20 hours of game play just messing about, Butchering hordes of zombies and climbing up everything we possibly can.

Both of us are near level 14 on everything, We frequently die just because we are doing stupid things or because of silly mechanics I.E the boost off of zombies ability works on other players so when we were climbing to the top of the bridge towers I ran and jumped but I got boosted from my brother being there I boosted straight down a hole instead and plunged to my death or clocking the gas canisters and throwing them at each other is another common theme

Oh the Grappling hook is game breaking imo so I try not to use it to often

It's not realistic, it's definitely aiming to be more fun and reduce downtime waiting on you getting your breath back, otherwise in real life we'd have people running marathons back to back after 2 seconds rest!

Here's a video I did last night of me running about using drop kick, it's age restricted btw so may not play if you've not logged in. I do have the drop kick skill + the increased power version.

I found a Katana sword in one last night. It's awesome.

Also found a police rifle but I've not bothered using it much due to the noise it makes.

So far in the police vans I've found an american handgun, german hand gun some ammo and some shotgun shells.

Not found a shotgun yet though!!

I'm only 8% into the story, only doing it on co-op as I mess about so much single player

It's unlocked through the ability tree

I thought it was amazing till I actually tried it and just thought "wtf is the point?" Its kind of like the TIC TAC ability, I cannot really see a use for it as it just seems buggy.

Daft question - occasionally I've picked up a 'Battle Journal' or a little brown envelope with a 'Note' in it. But I can't see anywhere in the inventory screen etc that I can find these and read them? :confused:

I use a controller pad, but I think in the inventory you press x? And it comes up with a list of what you've collected with all the notes and everything.

I believe you press F on the inventory to see the collectibles
