*** Destiny Raid & PvP discussion thread ***

Two CE normal and one nightfall. All radiants apart from Song of It Yut...and considering its the first arc heavy I've got since launch I can't complaint. Oh and a garbage legendary from NF.

Anyway, I'm off snowboarding next week so that's me done with Destiny til I get back, have fun :)

although it may have looked like I quit in a tantrum after picking up my second no land beyond whilst seeing gjallarhorn drop elsewhere i did in fact get booted from servers!

Anyway 2 good runs, well 1 and a half but at least i got some sword practice apologies for burning through your heavy ammo!

Yeah, we thought you rage quit after getting two No Land Beyonds. We would've done the same!

I actually got The Last Word when I returned to Orbit. I was praying to get the hand cannon.. I guess I should've specified which one!

You did really well with the sword! It only took 3 or 4 goes. Next up, hard mode! :D

Think I used 2 or 3 packs, nothing really, considering you're hardly ever on sword duty I thought it went quite smoothly.

Wanted Hunger of Crota, got Black Hammer and Gjallarhorn. Wanted shards, got mostly energy. Wanted any armour piece for my Warlock, got none!

Had to laugh when we were jumping to the middle ledge for the first time on the Crota fight. 3 of us forgot we were Warlocks and fell down below. Double jump OP :D

So both my characters have full raid gear now. Bad news is that I now need 105 radiant shards to level both sets of raid gear to max, which will mean weeks and weeks of raiding for materials.

I have about 500 ascendant shards sitting there doing nothing. I wish I could trade them for radiant.

Good news is I managed to get 3 exotics today, 1 from nightfall which was a warlock chest which I already have so sharded. 2 from NM raid Truth from deathsinger and Red Death from Crota. Already have maxxed out Truth so I have put the second in the vault and I may use with my alt or break it down should I require shards.

Nice! I got a load of energy and shards from both the raid and the NF (AS for the NF).

The raid went smoothly although it was funny the first time when I jumped up as Crota just buggered off. Moody obviously had one of her "looks" going.

I am much more comfortable on the sword now. :)

Cheers Wardy. Nightfall was a laugh last night, looking forward to VoG. Like Yimpster it's only my 2nd run, should be fine though! :D
 
I shall probably be doing Atheon x 2 on HM some time this week (got gorgon maze cp on 2 chars) for potential exotic drop.

Need to do Full CE raid on normal on my alt some time as well.

Also need to do lamps and bridge on HM on both my chars.

Anyone interested in the above add me, I can easily LFG additional help. I usually play 6-9 most nights. If I'm on just join me and ask what I'm up to.
