I take it a load of you guys are students, I'm off as the kids are off and all I can see in chat is [OcUK]Someone has looted this that and the other all the time lol

Not sure if I've missed something, but why are there 0 players on the seasonal campaign multiplayer for any difficulties? Last night, around the 15-25 level, across all difficulties it was showing 0 games in progress?

Is there anywhere with a guide to the post lvl 60 game? All these talks of rifts, trials and what not is frankly confusing. All I'm doing is running and re-running the Acts and increasing the difficulty as I go, I don't really know where to start with this stuff that sounds fun.

They've been around for a while, but for all new people to the game or people coming back for seasons here's some handy links:

Gem Calculator - Calculates gem upgrade chance based on the GR you are doing.
Paragon Calculator - Lets you work out your overall Paragon for Live and Season.
Cooldown Calculator - Lets you play/work out cooldown reduction.
Skill/Elemental Bonuses by Slot - Shows you which gear can roll which +skill and +elemental damage.

Has a lot of relevant information, although some pieces have changed with 2.1.2 but it'll give you the jist of it. Basically what you're playing now is "Campaign Mode", all of the rifts and bounties are in "Adventure Mode" which you can access when you have completed the campaign on live or began on a season (where it's automatically unlocked).

Couldn't believe my RNG drop last night. Was running with a few of the OcUK guys, and in the space of about an hour I had 5 Remorseless weapons drop, and 6 sets of Krelm's Bracers. "Random" my backside!

On the plus side it's great having plenty of people logged in again, D3 is much more fun in a group than solo.

I'm just wondeirng through the game at the mo, once I get complete I'll drop in and see what all the fuss is about...

The randomized loot table theory at game start has quite a lot of evidence at this point in the games lifespan.

If you find you're getting a lot of the same items, try restarting the game, as in, go to desktop, not just leave the current game.

I might play Barb this season. It has got to the point where I think my current Barb is cursed and the Furnace does not exist on his loot table, Paragon 614 and no Furnace.

Maybe I will get luckier on another character.

Maybe...

Curse confirmed. The other day I got an Ancient Furnace on my seasonal Barb. When it dropped it had Str, Vit and a socket. I have rolled the socket to 10% CDR and gifted it for now. Need to find a ring with CDR so I can roll 10% Dmg on the furnace and then it will be pretty awesome.

Of course this means my non seasonal Barb will probably get one as well now. :/

Had some good luck last night, got 3 pieces of Akkhans on my S2 Crusader, already have the Trove Belt and the Condemn Shield, then i got an Ancient 2h (Stalgards) with a socket, rerolled Vit for 10% dmg, its just shy of 4.4k, as of now i can do t5, t6 is a stretch too far although i soloed a 24 rift in fairly good time.

Just need a blade of prophecy to push me into t6 i think :)

Still waiting to ever see a Rami's Gift drop, never seen one ingame since they were introduced!

Had quite a few on non season since they went live, they are rare though i will admit.

Thats me s2 crusader, need better gems on him, need to level my other gems as well, and need better rings really, i got a decent ammy in the bank waiting to be used but need to socket it, biggest thing i lack at the mo is enchanting mats and regular gems, this is holding me back from a lot of customisation and stat gains.

Seasons is a lot of fun though taking something you dont normally play and making it new from the start, i have a non seasons crusader with the BoProph and shield that i practiced with for a few days before S2 to get into the swing of things, but finding playing the Crusader from scratch has been really good fun.

I really need to figure out how to build my characters haha, I've got a barbarian but his damage seems lack-luster in anything past t3.

The other issue is I've had nothing but junk drop, making progression really slow (not that I know what I should be aiming for!).

Is there a good website with suggested builds/compositions I can check (I've seen some, but I'm not experienced enough to know which are good/bad)?

The top build for Barb at the moment revolves around the Raekor set with vile wards. You can make it work pretty well with any element, depending on your luck with drops, but most people use fire or physical. To make the spec really shine you will want around 38% cooldown redcution which will let you reset your charge cooldown by hitting three mobs.

My Seasonal barb is speced physical at the moment, you can have a look at him to get an idea of the gear you will be aiming for.

For some other builds and general information http://www.reddit.com/r/Diablo3Barbarians is pretty good.
