The top build for Barb at the moment revolves around the Raekor set with vile wards. You can make it work pretty well with any element, depending on your luck with drops, but most people use fire or physical. To make the spec really shine you will want around 38% cooldown redcution which will let you reset your charge cooldown by hitting three mobs.

My Seasonal barb is speced physical at the moment, you can have a look at him to get an idea of the gear you will be aiming for.

For some other builds and general information http://www.reddit.com/r/Diablo3Barbarians is pretty good.
Cheers for the tips, I'll try it out.

At the moment I'm fairly sure my talent, passive & gear selection are all wrong :D, I've tried to synergies as much as possible (stacking fire damage with fire based abilities) but then get wrecked with terrible drops.

Greater rifts the best way to get gear, or just farm T3 normals for a while? (not sure if I should be saving them for later greater rifts as atm I can't go that high)

For the Raekor and Undisputed Champion items which give your skills the effect of every rune, what type of damage do the skills then output? Wondering what +ele to stack for my barb...

Normally if you have an item that gives an effect that replicates a specific skill i believe the way it works is this.

If you have the skill slotted on the bar with a rune, the item will replicate exactly that (i proved this myself with Belt of the Trove, and i have Bombardement with the crit rune slotted on the bar, and it replicates exactly that)

However if you do not have the skill slotted, i think it just uses the default skill with no specific rune.

So basically the best use for it, is to slot the skill and select the rune you want it to replicate, in the case of one that mirrors every rune, your primary effect will be the slotted rune i guess with the other effects being considered secondary is my theory

June at the earliest, this will be the patch they issue between season 2 and 3. Possibly stretching to August depending on how long they run the season for.

+1

Blizzard stated recently there would be no major content patches during Seasons, so expect this to land on the actual servers between S2 and S3 i guess

Although im sure its going to be on the PTR for a good while.

Looking forward to seeing what Legendaries get updates

Started Barbarian for new season having not played D3 in months.

Couldn't get my 300 paragon Monk past T4 but the Barb is half that and can blitz T6...

My seasonal barbs coming along nicely. Paragon 401 now after the weekend and have 5 gems around lvl44. Yeah I've been hitting it hard :D

Had some nice items drop so I'll link my profile again incase anyone wants a barb reference.

I got a 2nd unity earlier so tried a solo grift after my regular group logged and did a 41 getting me 430 on the leaderboard :p not a bad start. I am short of 2% CDR though with the unity so the furious charging is very wonky. I'll have to grind for a better item someplace to fix that.

Really enjoying the grifts this season so far. The trials aren't as bad as last season, we've been doing 5 trials, then 5 grifts, with some t6 and bounties thrown in when we need to top up on frags and keys.

T6 needs sorting though with the introduction of ancients. T7 to T10 would be a good start. It's far to easy now and has taken away a big part of the end game play. It's a nice change to not have to watch the timer, farm past the RG etc and look for goblins, loot, exp shrines etc but there also needs to be a challenge and when you have a few ancient items and can 1 shot elites, clearing to the RG in 2 or 3 mins it becomes a bit boring.

Just got a Cesspools level for the first time ever on D3, really like the tile set, very cool. Is it a rare tileset or am I just on a very low probability run?

Once you get the Pride of Cassius belt you can run fairly high Greater Rifts without unity. I have managed quite a few 40s and even a 41 without unity. Still not had a single Unity drop myself, but my Demon Hunter friend gave me a Dex one that dropped for him, so I still need one more and a follower can’t die token, then I should be able to push to about 44, after that the boss fight is a bit of a joke as a Barb and takes far too long.

I had a little play around on this a couple of nights back and managed to get a Witching Hour (6% attack speed and like 45% crit I think) and an Ancient Windforce (rolled 10% damage onto it and then used a gfit to socket it). The combination of the Windforce and Witching Hour (and dropping ambush for archery) sent me from 550k sheet dps to about 850k...The only problem now is that I'm struggling for hatred - might try dropping the Frostburn gloves and going Prides Fall or something.

Jebus!, I've only hit 67 so far! :D

Any chance of a few Grifts/T6 runs when I hit 70 mate?

Gems are frustrating. I play solo so I can only get mine to about 43 at the moment playing barb, but I often see people with them at 50+ :(

Been having great fun and a bit of luck this time round. Been following a few guides and trying to learn a bit more about the game. At the moment i am playing a exploding palm monk using gungdo gear braces that applies exploding palm to other mobs so its easy to clear the screen :)
