Homeworld & Homeworld 2 HD remakes in the works

Same here, can get to menu and click on play. it goes to loading screen and you hear the cut scene sound then crash to desktop with no error.

seems a lot of people are getting it. hope they fix it soon

*Update* I got it working by changing texture quality from 9 to 8. if anyone else was have the same issue.

Ive played 24 minutes, of tutorials.. cant get the dlc (game) to download. sheesh.


And now my blinking AntiVirus has decided its a virus and deleted the Homeworld exe....

Preload's done me no favours really, still saying it'll take 3 hours to download the rest and if I let it do that the internet's basically unusable for anything else anyway.

Shame, will have to leave it overnight and come back to it tomorrow afternoon.

O.R.B. (Offworld Resource Base) was released around same time as first Homeworld. Shared the same visual style, but not sure if same 3D positioning ability.
 
Lol just got a free download code from Amazon because my order is delayed.

Yes I did buy the mothership one :) but I like clutter =]
 
Amazon US still have it at pre-order price. Providing your card doesn't have foreign currency charge it would cost around £19.17 depending on exchange rate.
 
Played 90 minutes or so, completed all the tutorials for HW1 and done the first 3 missions. As a new comer to the games, I have got to say, I love it. The setting, the story, the gameplay and the music are all utterly fantastic!
