*****Nvidia at GDC 2015*****

Well the TV upscales everything to 4k, otherwise you'd be watching everything in a box in the middle of the screen :D

But yes, I played GTA V on PS4 and it looked great on my Panasonic 58AX802b TV.

so you hoped for something different, you didnt get what you hoped for and are coming across pretty angry about it ? God help your parents at christmas.

Even though I'm 110% certain you're a troll.

You have to admit, for 5 years of Nvidia innovation, what they have produced here is completely pointless. I'm not even sure why they're using 4k as a selling point, half of people rigs can't play 4k, so what is the point of this thing?

That one. Quite a nice spec and could be good for some light gaming on a steam box (and access to my steam library is a massive plus).

oh wow them specs dont sound cheap
but then consoles r not cheap when they come out usually so....yeh
i agree access to steam library is a huge plus
so many own the same game on diff formats which is a little crazy

i dont see why that cant be streamed from any windows pc tho!

Fantastic, will be grabbing one of these for sure. This is what separates NVidia from the also-rans, they keep pushing, developing and actually bringing out technology to use.

Nvidia have pushed and developed nothing here, they have brought 'technology' out though, for 5 years this is appaling in my eyes as the market is now saturated and it's not exactly a massive seller. Valve are already making the right decisions, essentially the same thing for $140 cheaper. They should stick to the GPU world where they do very well.

Unless the next iteration of Nvidia GPU's are going to dominate 4k, and we're somehow going to be able to lag free stream 4k across WiFi then I don't see this being anything special.

Am I missing something?

Anyone know if this would let me play Steam games on it rendered on my PC like the Shield tablet does? That never interested me on a tablet but on a TV box it's another matter.

This looks really good, was a bit underwhelmed by the PS4 but this may be a worthy replacement for my PS3 (don't use BR anymore)

I streamed Spec Ops: The Line at 1080p and it was literally lag free.

I know this, because at the time I had the host PC and the client PC on screens that were side by side.

The client PC was connected by 5G wifi.

it shouldnt need to be a powerful box to play a stream tho right?
i understand the wifi would need to be good

id like to try that out sometime :)

If this is basicly the TV box of the Sheild Tablet then count me in if the exchange rate is good here in the UK.

The Idea to stream my PC games like FIFA & 3rd person games is a must for me, my PC being elsewhere in the house means a Win-Win for me... The other stuff is a bonus !

Steam box £50 is all you need not the £199 Nvidia box! They do the same thing in my eyes, every one who is on the forums has a good PC
